"Plus: -Die Rezeption hat bis 23:00 Uhr geöffnet. -Das Zimmer war sauber. Minus: -Eine Kommunikation mit dem Hotel war nicht möglich. Unsere vorherigen Anfragen via Expedia (ist die Rezeption wirklich offen wg. Fährankunft um 22:00 Uhr) wurden am nächsten Tag nur mit vorgefertigten nichtssagenden Texten beantwortet. -Unser Zimmer war alt und verschlissen und es lag ein Geruch in der Luft (Schweiß?) -Das angekündigte WLAN war non existent. -Sobald das Licht aus war, überfielen uns circa 20...

"This property was absolutely beautiful and quaint. We stayed in the Catherine suite which had its own private green room. It was a real treat! I enjoyed listening to the rain and sipping tea in the early morning in the green room. Our shower was fantastic and the bathroom was newly remodeled. The property has a lot of history and preserves the charm of a real French country Chateau. The grounds are gorgeous and our hosts allowed us to spend the evening exploring the park and fruit orchard....

"This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also. Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English....

"Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here...

"Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathrooms are large. The restaurant on site is wonderful for a special dinner. The breakfast was very nice with many traditional French options including local cheese. I didn’t use the pool, but it was very nice. The spa has 2 nice jacuzzi’s that are large. Everything was well maintained."

"Our quick visit to Hôtel de la Plage was wonderful. Despite a much later first night arrival, the staff kept in constant communication with us for check-in and had keys and information waiting. The restaurant was closed, but they put together a last-minute charcuterie board and some drinks for us. Clean rooms, great beds, central location, wonderful food and not enough can be said about the staff. Always welcoming, always smiling, just fantastic and charming. Easily would stay here again,...

They were able to get me a driver for the following day to take us all over...perfect way to get around and see all the WWII museum, beaches, cemetery, etc. The breakfast was excellent.
