"The hotel was very clean. All staff members that we were in contact were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of options (eggs (scrambled and boiled), bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt (with toppings), cheeses, pastries, juice, and coffee. We enjoy staying here and will stay here again when we return. The location is great as well."

"Centrally positioned for train/bus stations and eateries.
Was a nice, obviously recently refurbished room. The bathroom had a good shower and tub.
The staff were all lovely and very helpful.
Only fault. No light switches or lamps by beds so had to switch off at wall by the door. A minor issue but thought it a little strange.
Would definitely stay there again.
Definitely value for money."

"Room was just basic, felt more like a hostel than hotel. I went during the summer, and it was very hot in the room, even with the window open and the room close to the quay side. The fan given did not do anything because you can't place it closer to you due to the length of the plug. The fan wire was very short.
I have been to multiple hotels, including another one during this stay in Aberdeen and it was way better than this; with the price even lower than this Ibis hotel. I will definitely...

"This was one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced. The room was in an appalling condition: heavily stained carpet, damp marks on the walls, hairs in the shower, mould beneath a cracked and leaking shower, a stained shower head, faecal staining in the toilet and dust on the light fittings. The air conditioning did not work, the curtains were hanging away from the wall, and there was no shampoo.
Noise from the two bars below continued until approximately 3:30am, making sleep almost...

"Had high hopes being an IHG member. My stay hasn’t even been recognized. Sadly this hotel was below standards. Next to no parking so end up walking up the street and paying Signs saying they can provide amenities. Asked for a face cloth. Nope. Signs saying you can receive a different pillow. Tried….nope. They don’t have any other pillows. Be prepared for weekend noise as people screaming leaving the bars around hotel. Sadly Next time we will stay elsewhere."

"I loved everything. Phantastic value for money in a big city that does not have Hostelling Scotland Youth Hostels. Of course this is not a 4 star hotel! With the start of check-in, there is a receptionist that hands out the key. So everything cool. The only thing that irritated me, was that the telephone number on the booking form did not work.
