"Our family stayed at Silkari Lagoons in Port Douglas recently and overall had a very enjoyable time. The setting is surrounded by lush gardens, lagoon-style pools (six of them), and relaxing BBQ areas make it feels like a tropical resort. The room was spacious, we had a dual key 3 bedroom, it was well‑equipped with a kitchenette and laundry facilities, which was really handy. "This was quite the lovely stay—easy in and out, powered with electricity to recharge my devices. Would definitely stay again. The food on site is also really tasty and reasonably priced. The biggest perk is that it’s open past 5pm unlike most other places in the area. "

"I didn’t realise how central it is to everything - the beach, yoga, shops, cafes, restaurants, mariner. I felt safe, loved the room and the gorgeous wildlife that I could see everyday and night from my balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and shared BBQ area was perfectly positioned for sun and shade. "Excellent position overlooking Four Mile Beach, while being an easy walk to the shopping area. Good size 1 bedroom suite with a great balcony. The swimming pool area is very good. Just a couple of things that could be improved - the floors needed a really good clean and there were quite a few cobwebs around the ceiling and entry doorway. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again."
