"Perfect for the Warren Hill gallops & High St too. The air-con works - a blessing in this current heatwave. Staff are helpful & courteous. It's the first hotel I check out if I go racing at Newmarket. Walking distance of The Nat Horseracing Museum & Sporting Art. Night club & Geegees wine bar in walking distance. Also the dinner menu is excellent too. Recommended."

"Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. "Wonderful stay at the Jockey Club rooms, beautiful building and grounds. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was huge with a free standing bath. The breakfast was very good, served in a grand dining room, all the staff we met were very helpful, polite and informative. "Check in was super quick and the staff are polite and friendly. Room was ok. Fridge came in handy, and we spotted an iron with a small ironing board. Also tea/coffee making facilities. I suspect the room could get warm, but there was a fan there, which we didn't need. The double glazed window in room 3, opens a bit, but the old sash windows behind it don't open. The flip side of that being that you wouldn't hear any external noise from outside. Electric shower which worked fine with good...

"The staff were very helpfull, the room was clean, our room was above some kind of air con or fan unit outside on the wall and it was so hot we had to have the windows open so it was a little noisy. On the Friday night there was an event on after the races.. A DJ playing music until 1.30am, we were informed of this upon check in but feel that if we had been informed a little earlier we may have cancelled our stay and booked alternative accomodation as I had a 4 hour drive home and not much sleep...
