"The new owners are doing a lot of great work to refurbish and refresh the property. The hotel itself is very quiet. Staff and guests are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are recently renovated and nicely appointed.
There is a nice indoor pool and a little gym, although we did not use them. Breakfast is fresh every day and a good selection. The coffee is also good and enjoyable. Location is convenient to shopping and some dining options, as well as close to get to the city of Decatur for other...

"Absolutely wonderful, secluded little place to stay! I was a little worried with it being right next to Lowe’s, but I hardly noticed at all! And to be honest I didn’t even know there was a hotel back there! Surrounded by trees, it’s the perfect little hidden getaway! Building was well maintained and super clean, very very quiet inside, lovely gas fire out on the patio. All in all an excellent stay!"

"Everything was ok but after our stay we were covered with bedbug bites. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Mt. Zion Ill. on May 29 and 30 th. I called them to tell them about it and that it happened in room 311. They weren't very nice about it. They denied it could have happened there but that is the only place we could have gotten them."
