"Guess you get what you pay for. Ice machine was broke & didn't work. Staff kept hanging up when I called to tell them I was checking in later in evening. Then wouldn't answer desk when I called from room & knocked on my door at night instead. Property was messy & trash cans were overfilled. Room stunk so bad for a non smoking room that it gave me a headache. When I did try to sleep, I could hear the upstairs walking, tapping on floor all night. "Room was clean, staff was extremely helpful! The breakfast had something for everyone. Actually we joined their Honors program that the young man at the registration desk suggested to us. We booked a room again for our trip back home."

"I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I didn't want to deal with the wife complaining about a dirty or poorly maintained room, so I thought Comfort was worth the additional dollars. And yes, it was money well spent, after a day on the road it is comforting to come to a place that is clean, roomy and well maintaned. The pool was a nice add-on, and the breakfast was the highlight. I'll be staying at a Comfort again in the future for sure."

"The Holiday Inn express in Wytheville is always a hit. We have stayed here numerous times and never regret it. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, in the pool and hot tub are always a plus. It’s close to restaurants, even walkable to some we will definitely stay here again!"

"Love that there is a view of the mountain even though it's slightly obstructed by a big metal box toward the road about the size of a dumpster. We booked through expedia which said we were getting a king size bed which we were given 2 double beds. My husband and I couldn't even sleep together, they did waive the $15 dog fee, but I would have rather had what we booked. They are trying! They are remodeling but as a person who does a lot of dyi projects the person doing the remodel is definitely...
