"Location was great 2 blocks from the beach.. no beach views from the rooms tho. The breakfast was convenient and being able to rent the beach chairs. There was a bad odor in our room. The front desk was notified and I was told housekeeping would check into it. ( it smelled like vomit in the corner of the room) we came back and they room was cleaned but still had odor. I had to constantly hold onto the bar in the shower to maintain my balance and even then, I was very afraid of falling!!! I had to straddle the outer edges of the shower floor to brace myself. "I am truly disappointed in this entire transaction. The hotel was booked back in July of 2022. Sometime during the hotel closed in January 2023 and no notification was sent to me letting me know about this. I was super lucky to be able to pivot and find another room at a different location. I wish there had been some communication about the closure. Hotels.com did come through in getting me a refund. "
