"We recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, it did not meet expectations—especially for the price point. The room itself felt old and dated, and the shower design was particularly frustrating. You have to step inside to turn it on, which is far from ideal when traveling with young kids. "I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means."
