This place isn’t terrible but I wouldn’t stay here again due to a few annoyances. The first one is my hand literally got scalded from the hot water in unit 7’s bathroom sink. Something is wrong with the water in this unit. It was a constant game of scalding/cold showers. The bed was comfortable enough for me but the pillows were so thin & flat that I needed to stack both of them to equate to one pillow. (I’m not going to complain about the street parking because I knew it was limited ahead of time) The host provided a QR code inside the rental which gives you a $20 daily parking rate which was nice.
Nick’s is the bar you’ll hear music from at night so if you go to bed by 8 or 9 & want 100% silence, don’t stay here because you will hear it! I stayed over Christmas and I definitely heard the music. I love music & it didn’t bother me. However, it did seem to stop by 10 or 11, if not sooner.
The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. I cooked breakfast 2 mornings and a steak dinner one night and had everything for it. (Knives,wine opener, spatulas etc) We had pizza at Sahara which is next to Nick’s and it was good.
This place doesn’t provide beach towels, chairs,etc so buy your own. I stayed at the Hotel Sheldon earlier this year and they were equally as nice, provided these items, had direct beach access, and the rooms had an ocean view. The only thing it didn’t provide was the kitchen to cook. Lastly, the host was awesome and responsive.
