Good location mix with residential and hotels / Condos. Pool area appeared well maintained outside your door and could be conjested during Peak hours? Smoking policy by the Pool was allowed (??) or not discouraged which was not a plus. Parking was very limited to return to find a space. Rooms were good and clean but dated furniture. Limited or no sidewalks in the immediate neighborhood and little to no after dark lighting. Appears a safe area. More for young families with children location? More quiet and less conjested off peak season? Seemed quiet overnight at night a plus!

The advertisement for this property is deceptive and misleading. The ads show pictures of the beach and the room I booked on Expedia said it had ocean view, there are no ocean views at this hotel. Even the name is misleading, jn no reasonable stretch of the imagination is the property luxurious or a resort, the clear intention is to get people to book then leave it to the hotel staff to apologize for any disappointment. This property is an older, minimally maintained class c motel that is on a side road a few blocks from the beach. Fresh towels and cleaning must be requested, but they do a nice job when they do clean. We had a studio with a kitchen that was a nice feature and being walking distance to the beach was another nice feature. They have a pool but we didn’t use it. I hate being deceived and think this property has enough redeeming features that it could get budget minded customers without the deception. Dearfield beach is wonderful, especially at sunrise and their proximity to it should be easy to sell.

I had to pay an extra $10 for parking, and very limited parking. What is shown on the website concerning the place being on the beach is a lie. It’s a good walking distance.

The place is not on the oceanfront. There is no restaurant or bar. It is 2-3 blocks from the beach, which is nice. The photo used by Expedia is not from this property. The room was good sized and clean. The heated pool is nice, but is loud because all rooms face the pool. On Saturday, there was a group that was partying until 5am.

My first question is what is your definition of a Resort? It’s not this. When I booked it, the first picture was of a beach bar; it is nowhere on this property. They never should have had that picture first because for me it was misleading. It’s a two story structure with parking right on the property. No need to walk far. We were booked for two weeks and i didn’t ask for a kitchen- my fault!- but seriously why not have a dresser for your clothes. There’s room for one.in the room and I could easily find one in a resale store. Certainly none of the furniture is exceptional. The room is a decent size. There’s a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. The closet was a standalone thing but tiny. So again nowhere to put clothes. Maybe the rooms with kitchens were nicer. But the biggest comfort problem was the mattress which slopes and was exceptionally uncomfortable. It either needs flipping or replacing. As well as better pillows. For a two week stay it wasn’t comfortable. On a plus note the staff was super nice and they will clean the room upon request. The pool is large, really warm and well cleaned. It is not good for really young children because it goes immediately to 4 ft, 6 ft and deepest at 8 ft. Perfect for adults. It truly is a 5 minute walk to the beach and at night to various restaurants, bars and a few shops as well as a 7-11 store. The Italian restaurant is great. This Deerfield Beach area is more quiet than other spots near Ft Lauderdale. It’s a good value

Overall this place has all of what we needed. Walking distance to everything, great lounge area at the courtyard pool, the saltwater pool water was sooooo warm and just what our northern bones needed after escaping a blizzard the day before arrival, rooms were spacious but older and bathroom tub was very worn. Parking is extra $10 per night which felt unnecessary but is what it is. Likely would consider staying again.

I would not recommend this place. The photos online are very misleading and do not accurately represent the property. The hotel looks significantly different in person and the entire property is much smaller than what is advertised. When my boyfriend and I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. We waited about 15–20 minutes before my boyfriend had to walk around the property to find the receptionist sitting by the pool instead of attending the front desk. That was very unprofessional and not the type of service you expect when checking into a hotel. During checkout we also had to wait around 10 minutes for someone to appear. While the room was clean, it was extremely small and the overall property is very limited compared to what the photos suggest online. We were also charged a $200 deposit that was supposed to be refunded, and I am still waiting to receive it. This has been very frustrating. I also attempted to cancel the reservation earlier, but since the booking was made through Expedia and the option selected was non-refundable, I had no flexibility. Unfortunately this was supposed to be my anniversary weekend, and the experience was disappointing and far below expectations. I hope management can address these issues and resolve the pending deposit. I will also be contacting Expedia regarding this experience and the misleading listing.
