Front Staff was rude and not helpful in any way. It is a 3 star hotel at best. Location was excellent as right on the beach, that’s the only plus of the hotel. The room was nice but nothing great.

We will not be returning to this property. The biggest issue was the door to our unit. Every time someone walked by — even in the middle of the night — it rattled loudly. It was disruptive enough that we had to wedge the bathroom rug against the door and prop a suitcase in front of it just to get some sleep. That’s not something guests should have to improvise on their own. The beach setup was also disappointing. Many of the beach chairs were in very poor condition, with holes so large you could literally sink through them. If you wanted a top cushion for the chair, it came at an additional charge per chair, which felt excessive given the condition of the loungers. The beach itself was often littered with trash left behind by other guests, and it didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly. The buoys marking the jet ski entrance obstructed the ocean view, and there was a frequent smell of gasoline throughout the day from the watercraft activity, which really took away from the relaxing beach atmosphere. Service was underwhelming. Staff were not particularly friendly, and basic items like washcloths were surprisingly hard to get. Regular coffee packets in the room were also limited — decaf was readily available, but standard coffee was not consistently restocked. We also had an issue with a neighboring guest smoking marijuana in their room, which we had to report to management. There was also construction noise from two adjacent properties that went on ALL day.

Toilet didn’t work. We had one of the worst rooms in the hotel with a view of a roof with a large mechanical unit.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and quick to greet the guests. The concierge assisted us in booking activities and giving us the best food options in the area. Every room has a balcony. We enjoyed sitting out at night listening to the waves. The hotel is not sound proof, so we didn't get the best nights sleep due to the heavy hotel doors slamming shut through the night. We would stay here again though.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My only complaint is the beds were so uncomfortable. There was a few of us staying in different rooms and everyone said the same. The restaurant doesn’t open until 8, which I thought was late, and the pool bar doesn’t open until 11.

The room was clean, but every time we asked for service, we had to chase down the staff for something, no body wash, no bath towels, reg coffee and one day, toilet paper. The location is perfect. The pool and deck are lovely. The hot tub could be hotter and might be nice if it was adults only. Some literature in the room about the hotel and nearby restaurants would be nice. The cost to rent chairs on the beach was prohibitive. Very quiet and the room had everything we needed.

Room was completely neglected. Housekeeping was awful. We could not leave our pool towels out or they would take them ($20 charge at check out for not returning them). Some days they took the used bathroom towels and left no clean ones. Never cleaned. We were there a week. They never cleaned the room. No washcloths even when I asked. Asked the front desk twice for housekeeping/towels and never got any. Our air conditioner was super noisy. Doorbells ringing all night long. It was awful. Do not stay there.

The room was dirty....Had some kind of drink stains on the walls, baseboards all around the room were filthy, big crack in the wall, and worst of all THERE WAS ABOUT A 1/4"-1/2" OPENING IN THE CLOSED DOOR! I COULD SEE INTO THE HALLWAY! I spent over 2 hours trying to find another resort in the area to stay at. On top of it all, they refuse to give my deposit back of first night's stay because "that's their policy" with cancellations! I argued with them that the cancellation for my stay was because of their neglect to provide me with safety! Didn't matter, no refund! I'll be fighting this til I'm refunded my deposit because of their NEGLECT and no fault of my own for canceling! I assure you, the room's cleanliness is NOT AS RATED on website!!!!

While the hotel does have a few positives — it’s right on the beach, has a large sun deck, and a nice pool bar — the room experience overshadowed everything else. Our first room was extremely disappointing. The balcony was located right next to the outdoor A/C units, which were very loud and clearly audible inside the room. The balcony was covered in bird droppings, and the “ocean view” was minimal at best. Not worth having a balcony and ocean view room. There were also visible handprints on the wall. We requested a room change and were moved down the hallway. While the A/C noise was better and the walls were clean, this room had its own issues. There was no heat, and it was 46 degrees outside. The thermostat didn’t work, and we had to shut the unit off at the wall after 30 minutes of messing with it. There was no remote for the TV, and the safe was locked shut. We didn’t discover these problems until 10 p.m. when we returned from dinner. To make matters worse, the room phone didn’t work, which made resolving the issues even more frustrating. The hotel staff rolled her eyes when explained this issues. Nothing was done. The hotel also would not honor the Expedia VIP perks, including late checkout and a room upgrade. They initially argued about the valet parking perk, though we ultimately did receive it. The beachfront location and outdoor amenities are nice, but the room conditions and lack of service made this stay not worth the price. There are much better options.

Issues w towels at pool. They need to order about 500 more to meet the demand. Several times we went to replace a towel we got eye rolls and was told to come back they were currently washing them. Pool deck was packed like sardines. No one eats at restaurant and strange that mini golf is on a roof top above the pool area. Should have moved restaurant/bar there. Lounge chairs on beach old.

The staff was very pleasant and easy to work with. The restaurant is very overpriced and the food portions are very small. Most of the beach is a jet ski rental so you get to smell gasoline and jet ski fumes all day not to mention the noise. And if you want a chair on the beach be prepared to stand in line for half an hour and pay $80. You can't sit in the pool area because they have music playing so loud you can't talk to the person sitting next to you. The room was very clean and well kept. The valet parking service was great. The walls were very thin we could hear everything the neighbors were saying.
