"It was our first time visiting Fort Myers Beach. DiamondHead resort provided a great place to stay. Clean room, comfortable beds, great shower, overall a very nice place. Restaurants were great. The beach chairs and umbrella was a definite plus. Close enough to walk to Times Square area (but golf cart taxi service is also available at a reasonable rate). Note: some unit’s have a little stove top ours did not. We had bought some eggs before arriving and ended up giving them to a staff...

"We had a partial beach view room and it was so beautiful to sit out on the balcony and just take in the views. Our door to the balcony was very hard to open/close (we notified the front desk) but we made it work. Plenty of room in the room and bathroom. While we didn't use the laundry, it was awesome that it was available. The beach supply closet was very convenient and had everything we needed and the kids loved that they could swim in the pool while still getting beach views. "
