"What a wonderful welcome we had. We got in late, with our kids, and had just intended to sleep on our way to Orlando. Mom and dad needed to unwind but the bar was closed. The gentleman who checked us in recommended some wines, that are available through the hotel and grabbed us some wine glasses. We are so grateful for his extra care, even when we were there for just a short stay."

"What a unique find - such a nice boutique hotel in Dalton! The room was very clean, decor pleasing, bed super comfortable, and the staff very helpful and courteous! We didn't have time this visit to take advantage of the workout room, but it's a nice size and good variety. We were able to take advantage of their lovely continental breakfast - perfect coffee, and wonderful pastries. The Carpentry is truly a gem!!!"

"The overall cost for this hotel was good for what it had to offer and the location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms liens were clean but my room floor was dirty as if the room floor wasn’t swept or mopped due to previous check out."

"I have staying at this property twice a year since 2017. Unfortunately this time wasn’t the best. There was no hot water at the sink or soap in the dispenser in the shower. The room was a little rough and had a musty smell. The TV only worked on one channel and believe me I tried. The lady who checked us in was very nice. There was no one around at checkout which was too bad because I would have let her know about the room. My wife who has been there several times said it was time to find a...

"Room was clean mattress had a zip up completely protector on it and another mattress protector so that made me feel at ease. Bed was comfortable, room was clean.breakfast was pancakes yogurt boiled eggs and maybe cereal I believe so it was sufficient, room was affordable. We stayed twice in 2 weeks. Didn't see any bugs thank God!"

"Our stay was very nice, the hotel is clean and in a good location to go and visit Chattanooga. There are restaurants in walking distance for a relaxing walk at the end of the day. The breakfast is very basic but ok to start the day."

"The hotel is in a convenient location. It is an older facility that has been updated but is still quite worn around the edges. The breakfast is pretty crummy, thought there is a good selection. The eggs were powdered (of course!), but the yogurt had a weird texture and the "raisin bran" tasted like chemicals. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of free parking. The free wifi is unsecured (of course) and VERY slow. I used the hotspot on my cell pone because it was much faster."
