"The BW Inn felt very cozy and safe. There was plenty of parking, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. I had a minor issue with the bedding during my stay, but the staff resolved it promptly. They had a very nice breakfast. The inn is located in a very scenic part of the city, which was a pleasant surprise and added to the overall experience. My only small feedback is that the interior paint colors are quite dark. It's such a beautiful inn that lighter wall colors...

"Because of the Marathon thru the Avenue of the Giants was this weekend, it was very hard to find a room. This was the only place available and even though the rates were extremely high, we were pleasantly surprised with the property and staff. the early breakfast was an added benefit before we hit the road to the Redwood National Parks. I would stay there again if in the area. Front desk staff was very helpful."

"We were very disappointed in this hotel. The word Boutique in the title threw us off. The lobby is very nice, but you don’t sleep in the lobby. We were looking forward to a special experience, but it was little better than a hostel. The heater/air conditioner made noise constantly and sounded like somebody was dragging a plastic bag through a shredder. We turned it off before we went to sleep and the air was fine in the room. So the air temperature was good but the bedding provided no warmth...

"Handicapped bathroom.had two showerheads, one didn’t work. Shower had a clear strip on the floor that was all dirty black. Also had a black rubberized mat in front of shower, very dirty. Sink had something jammed in drain and water started filling up sink. Not very clean."

"It is a neat hotel with character. It is clean and well maintained. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but there are definitely some negatives: The breakfast was pitiful. I was forced to go out for breakfast. There is no dedicated parking and since the hotel is located in the middle of a tourist town, finding street parking was not easy. I had to park several blocks from the hotel. There were often homeless people congregating on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. I would have to walk around them...

"Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hope you’re not there cause you want the breakfast. Food was absolutely atrocious gray meat have cooked potatoes. The hotel itself isn’t bad but their breakfast is one of the worst I’ve ever seen."

"The room was pretty nice but they are not located in the best of neighborhood's. The worse thing was the noise of the traffic. Apparently the street that runs by there is the one leading to the freeway. No actual closet in room only bars to hang stuff on."

"The Eureka Inn has a lot of history, beautiful lobby with fireplace, rooms are clean and nice. It could have a bar and a restaurant but that has been closed since Covid. Staff is one person on the front desk , it has potential, but it seems there is just not enough customers to support it."

"No "real" person at the front desk for check-in. The virtual attendant had a microphone that kept cutting out and it took three of us to figure out what she was saying and instructing us to do. There did not appear to be any staff on site and it did not feel safe. Extra flooring planks were left in the hallway with caution tape wrapped around them. The sheets appeared clean, but the mattress underneath was gross looking. Just an overall sense that this was not a good place to be. We did...

"Fridge was broken. No staff in the lobby just a teleprompter with a webcam. Shady ass people that live there on site and let dogs run around without a leash or collar. Sketchy area. Room was dirty and towels were stained. Not safe at night people loitering around."
