"Firstly, the images should be updated. COVID and the political situation had impacted international tourism. Next to the hotel is an uncompleted building. One of the images is not what it is. Facing the hotel entrance across the hotel is a polluted canal with some sewage stench. Secondly, the property's actual amenities are out of synch with the images. The rooftop skybar is diplidated. "We loved this hotel, spotless, comfortable bed, long desk, a spacious de luxe room with sofa. It has a separate shower room and bath tub with motorized curtain, and a day and night motorized window curtain. All staffs are welcoming in the lobby and reception especially Izu who patiently answered all our inquiries and recommended places to go. The coffee shop at the Ground floor serves delicious and affordable foods. The hotel is connected to a mall and has access in the GF. Accessible by taxi or Grab to tourist spots. Transportation is inexpensive. Highly recommended and will use other Pan Pacific hotels when we book in other countries. "

This manmade lake is a refreshing break from the city. There is a boardwalk around about half of the lake which provides great views of Karaweik Hall (picutred here) and the reknown Shwedagon Pagoda. While we were there in August 2015 they were working on part of the boardwalk which made it hard to get over to Karaweik Hall - basically you are forced to exit the park and walk along the road until you get to the next entrance. The whole park is fenced in with few entrances which also makes walking around the lake hard with the boardwalk being incomplete. But, it is a fun place to explore and enjoy the sun!
