Due to COVID-19, travelling today comes with more challenges than usual. Take note of the following tips before hopping on your flight to Fosen:

• Before locking in your flight, see if any travel bans or restrictions apply — in both your origin and destination. Get the latest updates by reviewing government travel advisories.
• Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to adjust your mask for identification purposes when asked.
• Instead of handing a TSA agent your boarding pass, place it directly on the reader yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA is now allowing passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on luggage. This will have to be removed from your bag for X-ray screening.
• Remove personal items from your pocket, like your wallet, phone and small change, and place them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you're carrying for X-ray screening. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA agent to touch and inspect your belongings.
