The exterior lights were too bright and kept me up all night. They have good curtains but they do not cover the entire window. The room was extremely clean. The breakfast was as expected for a continental breakfast at a hotel/motel. The room is small but adequate though there are a lack of outlets. I had to charge my iPad on the sink (small). Overall it served my purpose.

The staff were friendly. The area is beautiful! Loved the brook in the back and low traffic area . Perfect for the peace and quiet we needed to get away.

A great, affordable hotel in Franconia. An easy drive to Littleton or Bethlehem, and/or to places further north. Sweet staff, free breakfast, and spacious rooms.

It was the perfect spot for a quick getaway to see the ice castles. Visited in the winter and wished they would have lit the fire in the lodge because it would have been the perfect spot to hang out. Overall it was great spot!

They charged for the nights as soon as we checked in.. first person talking a shower had some hot water.I took one after cold water.The sink was not in the bathroom .so if you used the bathroom had to go into the bedroom section to wash so you could wake up the person sleeping in bed.shower was filthy no atm machine no ice manager got me a bag of snow in a bag..I told the managerand not one thing was adressed.

The section we stayed in was very outdated. You can hear every little noise. Our door was broken and could easily be opened with a credit card. The area is beautiful and its unfortunate because its in a great location

It was clean but it was cold in the room and we couldn't adjust the heat. When we got up in the morning the room temperature was only 62 degrees.

The pool is closed because the “heater” is broken but when we looked in the pool room the liner is falling off and it doesn’t look like it has been used in years. There are no games in the “game room” except a coin operated pool table. The room was not as pictured on the website. The room had a stand shower not a shower tub as pictured. The bed sheets had a blood “stain” on the fitted sheet…. Lord I hope it was a stain. Strange stains on the curtains. The contents breakfast was gross. Stale muffins. We didn’t even bother trying anything else. It was sub par at best and we won’t be going back

Property was barely kept up. Furniture looked like left over estate sales. Check out was at 10 and when asked if we could check out at 11 they absolutely refused. At times there was no one at the office. The entry way to the room was slushy and icy and had no salt.

Great for overnight
It is a fine hotel for the basics, sleeping and showering. I was working at a ski race so I just wanted to shower and sleep. It was clean, heating system was old.

Grimy and run down.
Room felt grimy with nasty looking stains and spills on curtains and walls. Room smelled strong of sweet gas station coffee during the whole night; I assume one of the spills… Furniture completely worn down. Sink had been moved out of bathroom and into bedroom area where there was little to no light. Disconnected water and drain pipes still being openly visible in bathroom. Place needs major overhaul and a thorough deep cleaning.

The stay wasnt bad, a decent place to rest your head. Shower is absolutely tooooo small. Need to be a lot bigger. Otherwise, not bad for the price

Relatively clean but outdated building...room very poorly heated (I slept clothed) and very poorly soundproofed (I could hear everything from neighboring rooms). For lunch, it's a mini self-service and the milk for the coffee was curdled. Very little care for their customers unfortunately!

The pool is closed, which was not advertised. The Lodge was boring because the fireplace was boarded up and the pool table required quarters to play. There was no machine for turned bills into quarters. We were so disappointed we canceled early, not wanting to stay a second night.

We never saw anybody just picked up our keys in the mailbox. The rooms are decorated with old, dirty, mixed matched decor and furniture. They might as well have no breakfast offered. I would find another place to stay for sure. It offers no comfort at all

Front desk person was rude and not helpful. Room was not real clean. Bath area flooring tore up and dirty. Breakfast was a joke, a nothing!! Supposedly deluxe rooms were we stayed in awhile renting 30 rooms over 10 day trip.

The sink was found clogged right after the check in. The frond desk staff responded quickly but was asking if we put something in the sink when he just checked us in few miuntes earlier. He tried for for sometime and temporarily fixed it but was still dripping. Tap water was leaking and dripping to floor. The toilet seat is very small. During the breakfast, they did not have enough foods for everybody. No one was around to refil those. I'll try to avoid this place in future.

We reserved three nights. Our room was not cleaned or serviced until, on the second day, we had to ask for coffee and towels. That is all that was done.

One of the 2 beds was sloped from head to foot, and I kept sliding down in the night. It would be nice to have more breakfast items and ability to get coffee earlier. Otherwise, was clean, and we had no problems with service. Rooms were quiet.

The WiFi was terrible and the bed was the most uncomfortable thing. We were there for a week and got clean towels twice and our bed made once and that was only because we asked for them.
