"This is a cozy cottage if you are just looking for a simple upgraded camping experience. Unfortunately the cabins aren't advertised very accurately, and reviews are scarce, so hopefully this helps someone know what to expect from their stay. There is no running water in the cabins, the bathrooms are shared and separate from the actual cabins, and there is no actual wifi or laundry facilities. "Check-in and check-out process was fast and efficient. Staff went the extra mile to assist when we had to make an international call to sort out our flight. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Wished we had more nights there! "

"Nice location on the beach. Room was nice, perhaps getting somewhat aged but that was reflected by the price. A bit longer walk in to Makkum itself, but doable and safe. We picked it for the water view and easy access to laundry facilities, right nearby, for the midpoint of our trip."

Confusing Check in

"Since we didn't know where we were supposed to park our car, we had to walk inside and it was quite confusing during the rush hour at the restaurant. I was not able to find the reception desk so I walked through the hallway with no luck. When I found that it was inside the restaurant, I asked one of the employee about parking our car and she looked away from me. I assume that she wasn't the employee that I needed in the first place. It was quite confusing at the beginning. "
