"When we arrived there wasn't anyone in the office who knew how to check guests in. We waited over 30 minutes for the owner to show up. He was at the bank. He walked us to our door to make sure we liked the room. The room is nice and clean. When we were leaving the owner offer us ice for our cooler. That was very kind of him."

"Elevator and guest hallways smelled of something rotting or stale. Room was damp and stains all over the ceiling. For what I had paid for the room, I could have easily found a better location. Disappointing."

"It’s your typical “right off the highway, older” hotel. Not at all fancy, and definitely could use an update, but for a one night stay as we were passing through the area, it was a clean, safe, place to rest our heads."

"Love the historic nature of the hotel, and carrying out that decor in the rooms and it's proximity to other things in the downtown area. The breakfast was adequate, yet not exceptionally accomodating for someone on a gluten free diet."

"The property is not taken care of. There was a dead bug in our bathroom. The toilet was stained. The pool had things floating all in it and was unbearably hot when you walked into the pool area. All in all, would never come back. The elevator sounded like someone was manually moving it. Terrifying."

"Everything was great. The WIFI kept going in and out throughout the stay...don't know why. Hotel is close to great restaurants within easy walking distance to the square. Also the hotel is close to walking trail which was wonderful."

"The room wasn’t what I had booked and the word suite at this hotel is if you get a couch. The staff was very nice and helpful and did give up a refund for the other 3 nights I had booked so we could stay somewhere that fit our needs."
