It was great! I loved the place and the employees were very friendly. They helped schedule adventures, you’re a boat ride away from a beautiful serene beach called green island. Everything was lovely!

The resort is beautiful & when they say escape - they mean it. It’s a great getaway from the world & its quiet. The staff were also really wonderful & hospitable. They made everything easy like booking excursions and even on property bookings.

Overall the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool was not cleaned during our stay and turned green on the day of our departure. There were no tissues in the room. Just an empty tissue holder. The property has a very could odor, probably because of the surrounding mangrove. There is also a major problem with birds at breakfast and lunch. There is also a mosquito/sandfly problem that takes away from enjoying the dock,

The overall stay was okay the property did have limited food options, and the beachfront was unimpressive. Limited staffing impacted overall service. The biggest issue was our room door being left wide opened after a day trip outside the resort. My fiancé and I thought that all our stuff had been stolen. Luckily nothing was missing but that is any traveler’s worst nightmare. I am “assuming” that the housekeeping staff just forgot to close the door but either way that is unacceptable. Thousands of dollars of items could have been stolen. The property doesn’t have security cameras so it would have been a disaster trying report all that and get compensation. We were given a complementary couples massage as compensation. Overall wouldn’t return though.
