Perfect place to stay. The owners are great, really authentic, lovely and really helpful without ever being in your face too much, the breakfast was fresh and home cooked, the rooms were great, the fire pits etc and they lent us bear spray.

Blue Buffalo Resort was wonderful for my recent trip to Yellowstone. The site is situated in Idaho, so I found the location perfect, as it was away from the more tourist heavy town of West Yellowstone. It's about a 30 minutes drive away. I had booked an Aspen Studio cabin which was great for just me as a solo traveller. Roomy, clean and had all the features of a hotel in a compact place. I did find it wierd how the toilet is in the shower but I get it as space is limited and it all adds to the...

What an amazing stay. We did a 3 week road trip from vegas to billing and this was our treat stay, and wow it was worth it. Beautiful cabin and location. Hot tub was a dream! If you stay and you’re from UK bring the office a Crunchie bar!

I would recommend this apartment to anybody wanting to spend a few days in Yellowstone.
It was much better than expected and well equipped and comfortable. Better than many more expensive places we have stayed on this visit. Perfect position, nice and quiet.
Would book again if we come through this way again.
