French Atlantic Coast hotel guide. Cerise hotel in French Atlantic Coast, France

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely small boutique hotel. The location is perfect — just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and only minutes away from excellent restaurants, shops and a grocery store. Despite being so conveniently located, the hotel offers a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquillity. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. On the day of my arrival, I found a lovely welcome card waiting for me in the kitchen, together...

I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded. The staff are polite, courteous and professional without being robotic, and that makes a difference. The room was larger than expecting, well furnished. The bathroom was good and the buttons for the shower avoided the usual fear of having to take a degree in plumbing that you usually find with hotel bathrooms. The bed was a little firmer than I like but then everyone has different tastes. The coffee was good, the water fountain...

You need to have a car to drive into Arcachon and the surrounding bay as there's nothing in walking distance. But if you have a car - this is perfect. Clean. Good breakfast. Quiet. Free parking. Excellent.

This is a lovely refurbished chateau in a tranquil suburb of Nantes with a nearby river at the end of its garden. There is ample parking on site. We stayed overnight and ate dinner which was on the expensive side but the quality and presentation were of a very high standard. We look forward to staying there again.

Good service good location for meeting someone landing at the airport

This is our second time staying here, can't be happier. Our 2nd time is just as good as the first time if it's not better. The room is perfectly decorated, small but charming. Fantastic location, very quiet but close to the city centre. Most importantly, the best thing about this hotel is that AMAZING staffs, all of them are very helpful, friendly and speak fluent English, this hotel must be very proud to find these amazing staffs and I hope they will maintain this level of service. Without a...

A lovely hotel. Despite the low number of guests the hotel still had a great atmosphere. The two-bedroom ‘suite’ was really just two rooms with a shared outer door but very comfortable, great layout and nicely designed, beds amazingly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent, beautiful bar in the lobby atrium. The staff were clearly very well trained on the ethos of the hotel and were superbly efficient but also very friendly. Hugely recommended if you’re visiting La Baule.

Loved our stay - staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in a great location very close to the lighthouse. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the pool was good fun. Thank you to all the staff!

Very modern and clean hotel with excellent helpful staff. Bedrooms are quiet with comfortable beds. Ensuite bathroom is large with walk-in shower. Hairdryer in the bathroom. Kettle, mugs and tea & coffee available in rooms together with a water bottle refillable for free, from the water cooler located in reception. Rooms have twin round-pin sockets and also USB-C charge points. (not USB-A) Good choice available for the buffet style and organic breakfasts. Gluten free choices also available...

Great hotel with in walking distance to Bordeaux's attractions, restaurants & bars.

Great hotel, friendly staff, well priced, close to the centre and an easy check in! Highly recommended

Gorgeous hotel on the waterfront - the most impressive in Saint Jean de Luz, with a nice (simple) spa. The staff are the highlight - effortlessly efficient & totally capable - from the (handsome) door men to the amazing receptionist, capable maids & talented masseuse. The whole hotel was immaculately presented, including the room. My only disappointment was that the room was far too hot without the window open, and much too noisy with it open. So I didn’t sleep as well as I could have. This was...

Excellent hotel, friendly welcome from the reception staff. Absolutely spotless throughout. Puts some of the bigger chains to shame. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent modern hotel in next to the beautiful seaside town of Pornic. Hotel has free secure parking, Excellent reception services and a nice, but small, indoor pool. Clean.smart rooms with WC seperate to the bath and basin. Location is just outside the town surrounded by flats and a casino but just a 7-10 minute walk along a pretty canal to the small port/ waterfront.

Great location, staff and easy journal to airport and railway station.

Plenty of parking, the staff were soo lovely, very friendly and helpful, one love lady printed off a list of recommended places for dinner and was extremely helpful. Our room was spotless and the beds very comfortable, everything was to our expectations and more!

A return visit to Biarritz to take in some sea air! The hotel was situated right above the beach, but also two minutes from the main shopping street. We had paid extra for a balcony, but unfortunately it was rather too windy during our visit for us to take much advantage of it! Enjoyed a meal in the hotel's restaurant on our second night and a nightcap in the hotel bar.

We had a great stay in Nantes. The hotel was very central. Room was comfortable and even had a coffee machine. We could walk every where and followed the green tourist line everywhere.. We would love to visit again and would choose the same hotel
