"Check-in starts at 3pm. We arrived at 8pm and our room "was not ready yet." We're guessing that's hotel speak for "we gave your room to someone else." It was fairly annoying that we had to pull out our ID every single time we needed to access the elevator to get our room. Is there that much crime in that area? Water pressure in the shower was very low. That seems to be pretty standard with hotels. We had the added luxury of not having any hot water from the shower head. Hot water was abundant...

"Very nice property on the outside of town. Pool at the property over across the road, small walk or drive over. Very serene. The young lady at the camp store check in was very nice and helpful. Drip coffee in the the cabin was a huge bonus. My absolute only complaint was the art in the cabin. Considering the mountainous area I would have expected local pictures/prints or art. "For a 9.4 exceptional rating and for the price I paid for the "suite" ($450+), I was expecting a better experience. Bad first impression to see an unkempt, overflowing trash can right in front of the front door. I mentioned it to receptionist and she said I was welcome to throw away my trash inside. Kind of snarky and not very friendly. The guy that was working later (early evening) was much more pleasant. The room and facilities were good. I used the fitness area and it was decent.
