"If you come on a Wednesday, be careful: the hotel and restaurant are closed and the number on the notice at the door doesn’t work. I was on a cycling tour and had already called the number on the confirmation (which does work) to say I would be arriving at 8.30. "This hotel was exceptional. The main hotel was 4* but the accommodation chosen was the boarding house close to. I suggest the standard was every bit as good as the main building. No fault whatsoever. Following a very good meal in the 4* hotel restaurant a quiet evening was enjoyed. Would stay again. "
