"This place was awesome !! We stayed here for three nights and so far has been the best accommodation we’ve had in Japan so far. You have everything you need here. Kitchen, microwave, washer & dryer, even an ice machine !!! The sauna and the outdoors bath was great as well. There were some drinks in a fridge close to the sauna that were delicious. Their fridge in the kitchen was stocked up with drinks. That was a nice surprise."

"This was my first time visiting Kyoto, and I highly recommend this hotel! The check-in process was very smooth, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was quite spacious, and all the facilities were new and very clean. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the kettle, hairdryer, and shower were all great. The hotel staff were always willing to help with any questions or requests. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto!"

"My stay at the Double Tree was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is very close to the train station (and a Shinkansen no less!) and a 7/11, which is great for getting cash on the go. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The hotel lobby smelled amazing and had a relaxing atmosphere. "Kitchen setup was cleverly hidden under a table but the staff was super helpful. I love the area around the hotel and it was super convenient to walk to different places or get to a subway station. The only downside is that the ensuite laundry doesn’t have a dryer but it was not a deal breaker "

"FYI the breakfast was not free however it was inexpensive and the food was good. I highly recommend the hotel. It's in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance to plenty of eateries. It has a relaxed hipster vibe and a lovely bar. Plus the room was gorgeous!"
