"This hotel was an excellent value. The rooms were standard Japanese size, but sufficient for two people. The lobby had an excellent common area that included free tea, coffee, filtered water, and Sake tasting. The hotel had aroma therapy in the main lobby, so be advised if you are extremely sensitive to smells, even really good ones. "My wife and son stayed for three nights. The hotel was good value, the included breakfast and amenities were wonderful. The position is a bit removed from the centre of Kyoto but a great position if you want somewhere a but quieter and it's walking distance to the Inari shrine with the 10,000 gates and some good local food options like ramen etc. Only thing that could have been better was the lighting in the room as it was too dark for us at night with everything switched on."

"Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. This was a great place for us to spend our 5 nights in Kyoto as it was close/walking distance from Kyoto station and had more than enough space for our family of four. We were looking for something that had ensuite laundry and a kitchenette so we could prepare our own meals, and this location had both. To make it more convenient, it would have been nice if they had a few more items in the suite like a iron/ironing board, which is usually in hotel...

"The location was good enough and convenient for getting around. The room was more spacious than most hotel rooms in Japan, which we really appreciated. Having a washing machine inside the room was also a great feature. Since we usually ate out, this was not an issue for us, but guests planning a longer stay and intending to cook may find the kitchen equipment quite limited. Overall, we had a good experience and would consider staying here again."
