Ferry crossing at Shelter Bay. The sun came out in late afternoon after a day of overcast skies. Such a treat!
On the ferry at Arrow Lakes watching the sun set. The ferry is quite short as it takes about 15 minutes to cross.
The West Kootenay Scenic Route is incredible when heading north to Kamloops. You will have wild views of the mountains and animal encounters. Surrounded by millions of Ponserosa Pines which feel like your trapped in a snow globe during the winter.

The gate to the property was locked and no one answered the phone so we could not stay here even though we had a paid/confirmed reservation. I am in the process of trying to get a refund.
