"Wonderful location. Excellent grounds. Food was great but you need a reservation."

"We were a little put off initially when we arrived. There was a self-checkin machine and seemingly nobody around except a random person sort of lurking around the checkin machine. But once we got self checked in, the room was comfortable and although the walls were thin, the neighbors were quiet, so overall it was fine. In the morning, there were 2 staff people that we could give our keys to in order to check out. It was nice that the hotel had free parking and was close to a market and a great bakery. Only wish there were hand towels or a floor towel provided and a hot water kettle."

"Although the bed was comfortable, there could have been an extra blanket as heat didn’t come on. I expected the room to be more updated. Bathroom needs updating including replacing toilet seat. WiFi was a super weak signal and we were room 1 near reception. Nomad cellular network very weak on property. Would have liked a small fridge in room. Great to have on property parking. The walk to harbor about 10 min. Uphill a bit longer."

"Not the most attractive hotel from the outside but everything inside was excellent. Very friendly helpful staff. Spotless rooms and plentiful buffet breakfast. The pool and sauna were again spotless, well maintained and warm. Decor inside was 'different' most amusing to see various animals holding all the light fittings..!"
