The location worked for us as we were attending a concert somewhat in the area thank goodness we only had to spend 1 night there. It was so old , which could be quaint n nice but needs some major updating for comfort. We were given a room on 3rd floor. The attic. If you weren’t constantly aware of ceiling you had to duck. We smashed our heads more than once ! The linens were made out of sandpaper. Never in my life have I seen such roughage on linens. It’s not a $$ thing. The furniture was 70+ years old. The room was dark dark dark. Had a little skylight with a shade to keep the heat out that leaked when it rained. And oh, the heat….. The AC clicked off and we were never able to restore it. Was midnight when we returned and 90+ degrees. MISERY. The shower hose seemed like it was going to bust. The pressure was “good” but the hose couldn’t handle it so it started spraying out of cracks. Check out time was a lovely early 10am! Wth ?? Breakfast was ehhhh. Gal serving was nice but wasn’t much to eat. Took a packaged croissant with me for the road. Would NOT recommend. Definitely needs some attention and updating for comfort. Easy fix without spending $$
