Top Gambier Island Hotel Reviews
Gibsons Garden Hotel
8/10 Good
"The Gibsons Garden hotel was a great spot to stay for our family. The rooms were very large and the grab n go muffins were yummy! My kids loved watching the koi fish pond. The staff were very helpful and kind"
Revival English Bay, Vancouver
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our four-night stay at Revival English Bay. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The motorized black out patio shades were helpful for sleeping in. The kitchenette was well-supplied. We appreciated having the microwave and ample-sized refrigerator, and we found it convenient to have the extra sink. The front desk staff were all very friendly and professional. A special shout-out to Maggie for her helpful advice throughout our stay. The hotel location was ideal, with Denman Street right around the corner featuring a wonderful selection of restaurants (particularly loved Nook and Tavola). There was a full supermarket and pharmacy in the adjacent mall, and nice lattes at 93 Coffee next door. Everything was walkable--Stanley Park and the Seawall walk were highlights. We walked to Granville Island over the Burrard Street Bridge, and headed to Canada Place and the surrounding area on foot as well. The parking garage was safe, attached to the hotel, with easy in-out access. We drove to Lynn Canyon, only 30 minutes away, and hiked some beautiful trails. We will be back to Vancouver, and would love to stay at Revival English Bay again!"
Cedars Inn Hotel & Convention Center
8/10 Good
"Booked this property kind of last minute-ish after our Sunshine Coast travel plans changed slightly. The reviews are a pretty good indicator of what you're going to get — as a family of three we had a fine stay. Yes the property is on the older side but we loved the generous size of our second floor room perfect for our young child to roam around. The beds are squeaky and the walls are quite thin but other than one guest the room over blasting his TV at full volume (the friendly front desk staff was quick to help out) it was quiet when we were asleep. The bathrooms are clean, and we made good use of the nice hot tub and sauna. Some of the equipment in the gym is quite old but the free weights looked new and was sufficient to get in a quick workout or two. The meal vouchers for Tim Hortons are honestly a nice touch and can actually be used any time of day. The property being right in central Gibsons across from the mall was really handy too. Would stay again :)"
