"Great staff and the renos are really professional. We had 3 rooms. One person did not like looking at the roof but the other 2 rooms were top rated...Balcony and I had a kitchenette. My room really smelled of stale cigarette smoke despite the signs...I did tell the staff. That was our only negative.... We loved our stay..."

"The Sylvia is a lovely older hotel in a fabulous location. The staff were helpful and friendly; breakfasts at the restaurant were fresh, well designed, and tasty. My room was spacious and clean; bathroom was renovated and comfortable. The hotel’s overall layout is dated, but functional."
