"Excellent location!! 5 minute walk to English Bay beach, sea wall and Stanley park! Building is older and could use some upgrades. Does not have central air conditioning!!! Just window unit in room and some are very old. Originally on 5th floor with balcony and ocean views but it was roasting like an oven so we traded it for a lower floor and parking lot view. Beds comfy and room well cleaned. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again"

"Parking: only valet allowed I noticed black marks on my vehicle (driver’s side, rear panel) once in better lighting when I made a stop in a parking spot when I was out of downtown Vancouver. Just not sure all valet are good drivers."

"The room was spacious and clean. The amenities in the room such as fridge, microwave oven coffee maker and kettle were useful. The only disappointment was that the advertised included breakfast was a coupon to Tim Hortons which was several blocks away. We were expecting a buffet style breakfast within the inn itself."

"We were given a suite with a kitchen and lounge area. It was all very clean, but a bit tired. There were electric heaters on the walls that looked dangerous. The air conditioning in the bedroom was very loud. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good, but you eat it in an outdoor area with a roof and heaters. Overall I would recommend this hotel, it is well positioned and a good price for the area."

"Great location. If the parking is full don't plan on driving. Staff was friendly. Rooms are dated but clean and spacious,which is all I care about. Good spot"

"The rooms are old and outdated. We found our room very musty. The staff didn’t seem very responsive to this concern. Since we were staying only one night, we dealt with the room, opened windows all night and put fan on medium/high. The positive things were the hotel location is excellent. Restaurant service and food was excellent."
