Top Gambier Island Hotel Reviews
Sylvia Hotel
8/10 Good
"The rooms are old and outdated. We found our room very musty. The staff didn’t seem very responsive to this concern. Since we were staying only one night, we dealt with the room, opened windows all night and put fan on medium/high. The positive things were the hotel location is excellent. Restaurant service and food was excellent."
Econo Lodge Inn & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Its not fancy but its in a nice area with lots of amenities, theres a gorgeous trail we stumbled upon on the way to the grocery store down the street which was lovely. The breakfast was better than your basic oatmeal, toast and cereal, they had some microwavable breakast sandwiches. I also accidentally had my wallet drop out of my purse the night before in front of the lobby and it had been returned to the front desk which was such a huge relief for me so its a really nice area! For vancouver it was a better price than alot of places and we had a good experience :) also! there was a grocery store down the street called Sungiven that had alot of cool treats including those frozen creamy mango and peach shaped desserts that ive always wanted to try."
Gibsons Garden Hotel

"Best hotel in Gibsons!"
North Vancouver Hotel

"Breakfast is very basic but staff were very prompt to keep it well stocked. Room was adequate for what we needed."
Sunshine Lodge
8/10 Good
"Clean and recently renovated room. Staff were friendly upon check-in. They have a 24 hour coffee and hot chocolate machine. Unfortunately, the pool was not heated."
Best Western Plus Sands
10/10 Excellent
"Don't judge a book by its cover...and don't judge a hotel by its lobby. The common areas of this hotel are pretty shabby, but the rooms are updated and great. Comfortable bed, new shower and bathroom...small but functional. The King bed room I was in had two sinks which made up for the small bathroom. Critical to know that the parking (paid) is accessible from the backstreet immediately BEHIND the hotel! Staff were very helpful and friendly. But the best thing about this hotel is the location...a block from English Bay Beach, and Stanley Park!"
The Spot at Porpoise Bay
10/10 Excellent
"Great little place to stay, amenities were useful like the BBQ"
English Bay Hotel
8/10 Good
"Certainly an older property, 2 star but well maintained and clean. Comfortable beds but rooms dingy due to age with old carpets and dim lighting. Could use a refresh since the bones of the units are good with a full kitchen and closet. Parking garage secure although watch for drippings from the ceiling! Overall the location can’t be beat but don’t expect any modern finishing or amenities."
The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver
10/10 Excellent
"Expensive, but a nice hotel. Great location beside Stanley Park. Nice swimming pools inside and out. Jacuzzi and sauna a nice addition. Decent little addons like free ice cream, etc. Would recommend, even though pricey."
