"Checking was a breeze. Breakfast. I’ve travelled all my life all over the world and have never seen a breakfast like it. As this hotel is popular with Europeans and Asian visitors they catered for both parties. What I was most impressed about was the cereal/yoghurt selection. Muesli was already blended with yoghurt, there was a selection of nuts, sunflower, chai seeds and more. Thus I have never come across even at the Ritz Carlton properties. Very impressive. A range of pastries but also baguettes and sour dough. Again have not seen this. Cuppacino, short blacks etc were all part of the breakfast At NO Additional Cost. Pool, beach and gardens very well maintained. Our room was garden facing the ocean. Nicely appointed, decent size, bathroom also a good size. Room had a balcony and towel rack which was handy to dry out clothing instead of hanging them in the bathroom. Something else that I have not seen for a long time, was there booklet on the property. In this was the usual information however when it came to the room, here was the exceptional twist. If you required cotton balls, shavers, and the list goes on all you had to do was contact house keeping and they would be sent to your room COMPLIMENTARY. We booked through EXPEDIA and included in our room rate was breakfast and one transfer from the airport to the hotel. Yes, it is an older property but it is clean tidy with no hawkers on the beach. Northern end of Lombok with some nice restaurants just up the road."

"If I could sum up our 7-day stay at Qunci Villa Resort it would be FABULOUS! My husband and I had an oceanview room and it superceded our expectations. Large bed, Bottled water renewed everyday! We had an outdoor shower in our bathroom- very nice! The staff have been well trained in hospitality and look after guests extremely well. They were friendly, attentive and always there to make sure we were well catered to. The three outdoor pools overlooking the ocean allowed for beautiful views at all times. The pool staff were friendly and the QR code ordering for food & drinks was great. So many places to sit and soak in the sun that one didn't feel like you'd run put of space. The three restaurants were well designed and the food was very good - Choose from Italian, seafood or Indonesian. Happy hour every day. We loved our time there and will most definitely come again!"
The Oberoi, Lombok

"First time staying in an Oberoi and hospitality was unbeatable - truly top notch. Staff were so friendly and anticipated every possible need before we even asked. They even surprised us with a flower bath for our anniversary. Property is beautiful, rooms are spacious. Snorkeling optional trip (extra cost) was a must. What I appreciated the most about this hotel was the extra effort they took to share cultural stories and more information about the island in the information packet provided. This did not happen anywhere else we went in Bali/Lombok. Breakfast options were exceptional - Indonesian, Indian, and Western. Good selection of vegetarian and GF options as well. Highly recommend the splurge on this hotel!!! PS - Note that the property is quite secluded. Best meant for a honeymoon or quiet escape. Not for proximity to cities like Sengigi or Mataram."
Katamaran Hotel & Resort Lombok

"A 1 hour and 10 minute BluBird cab ride north from the airport 330 K IDR. One bedroom private pool villa. Very good condition, no grime. I would guess 90 square meters indoors and another 90 sqm of pool and decking. Pool about 7M x 3M and 1.4M deep (good if you want to swim, not great if you have children since there is no "paddling depth"). WiFi "ok", aircon adequate , not powerful. 2 restaurants, good food selection, good quality. Prices good until 40% tax+service charges are added. This seems to be an Indonesian custom. It's another 30 minute cab ride to Bangsal for boats to the Gilis. GRAB 150K IDR. Overall, happy. Would stay there again."

"Beautiful location with lovely staff and a decent swimming pool tucked away from the main road. Beach was lovely although regimented rules around towels became silly. English speaking morning manager (not local) spoke to staff rudely and 'benesth' her who h was the only let down of our stay."
Jago Gili Air

"We absolutely loved our stay at Jago Gili Air and would highly recommend it. The room was gorgeous, comfortable and beautifully presented, but what really made our stay special was the staff. They were genuinely lovely, incredibly welcoming and somehow learned our names almost immediately. They made us feel properly at home throughout our stay. Every morning they prepared us the most beautiful breakfast, which was such a lovely way to start the day. There are also board games available to play in the evening, which is a great touch if you want to bring back some food or snacks and have a relaxed night in. We also appreciated that you could bring your own drinks to enjoy outside. The location is brilliant, with lots of amazing food options nearby, and it’s only around 5–6 minutes from some of the best snorkelling on Gili Air. We saw turtles and some incredible coral reef, so the location was perfect for us. The only area that could be improved is the pool. Unfortunately, it was a little cloudy during our stay and we found ourselves having to ask for the filters to be switched on. If the pool was clearer and the filtration system was running 24/7, with appropriate chlorine levels maintained, this would easily be a 5-star stay for us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and the staff really made Jago Gili Air stand out. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it."
