"Check in was chaotic and our evening meal booking was lost! This meant a late evening dining time. When I got to my room it was obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned (see photo of Bath plug) This was disgusting and reported to reception but it took another day before resolution. No offer was made to change room or compensation. I have since left messages with manager to try to discuss this issue but had no response which is extremely disappointing and very unprofessional. I would not come...

"Outstanding service, food, amenities and grounds. We enjoyed our 5 days at Schloss Roxburghe immensely which made it truly difficult to tear ourselves away. The dinner at Charlie's was superb and Sunlaws was exceptional. The service we received throughout our stay was so welcoming and first class. We could have...

"This was a great location for me to visit Galashiels. Its a lovely old manse building with nice clean big rooms and comfy beds. The owners of the guest house were on site, very friendly and welcoming. I had a sound night's sleep and woke to a lovely cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. I couldn't fault my stay. There is plenty parking but lots of free street parking nearby anyway so no issues there. I wouldn't hesitate to book again."
