"Fair sized rooms with good showers etc en suite. On the ground floor, many rooms face the car park and occupants can easily be seen unless the curtains are fully drawn. There is no air conditioning which made sleeping difficult with night temperatures in the high 20Cs and day temperatures nudging 40C. "Interesting and beautiful hotel set in lovely parkland and gardens. Good food in the brasserie and useful to know that one of the three restaurants is open each day. Plenty of parking and an hour from Calais so an excellent stopover."

Although the restaurant was closed breakfast was available and had a good choice of breakfast items. There was a bar restaurant on the ground floor in which meals could be had.
