"Because of train delays I wasn't sure if I would arrive at the hotel before reception closed. I phoned them to check and they were very helpful and sent me a door code for after hours access. In the event I was about 10 minutes late and someone was still there and gave me a very friendly welcome, which did a lot to alleviate the misery of a stressful journey!
