"Family of 3 plus Grandma. We were very impressed to say the least. From the very spacious, tidy and clean Villas, to the extensive breakfast buffet with made to order dried fish delicacies to the very kind and responsive staff, everything was perfect. Even to the small details that they’ve thought of like the pot of clean water they placed at the steps leading to each villas to clean the sand off or them cooking the dried fish on a separate kitchen away from the breakfast area so guests wouldn’t have to smell it. Everything was truly impressive. "

"The property is not safe and the door lock broken, next time I don’t want to check in on that hotel anymore, the breakfast okay but no good."

"The property is a perfect location, a relaxing retreat. We loved that the grounds were clean, spacious- lots of places to sit peacefully or with a group, the ocean views are beautiful. The staff & interns were kind & hospitable. It was walking distance to small shops, cafes, restaurants & Cloud 9. Totally recommend. "

"We had a great stay at this hotel! We were in a premium villa (not ocean view). It was big, clean, quiet and had a great balcony. We were unfortunate with the weather and it rained a lot during our stay but we still took the paddle boards out, played pool and pongpong which made the days better! The breakfast was good and lots of variety. The people were all very nice! Would stay again!"

"It was a nice property very close to the ocean, great location and very friendly staff. The owner who is from Augsburg Germany is very friendly and good hearted. He lives there with his wife and twin daughters. It’s not fancy but it’s worth the money and it is safe there."

"This place is the best, the host named Jessie took care of us, they even came early to cook us breakfast, the entire staff, they are very accommodating. They always check on us to make sure we are okay. They clean our room daily. I already plan on booking this same place for my 2027 travel to the Philippines. Thank you La Fuga"

"The accomodations was ok. Definitely not a resort in the true sense of a resort. It is obvious maintenance is not top of the list. Leaking face basin. tiolet seat was a mess etc."

"I really liked the Retreat. My room was really a large apartment. Spacious with full length windows on two sides overlooking the sea, gardens and swimming pool. Nice restaurant area with idiosyncratic Korean inspired food. At fist I thought the room was a little rustic but that was due to customs built furniture pointed dark brown. In fact the facilities were bang up to date - separate toilet, basin and shower areas modern TV and good broadband. The beach was not really suitable for sandcastles and baying but scenic. "
