The whole family room with 4 x beddings were spacious for our family of 5 (primary school age children to baby) to move around and to sleep. "We love the decor. I was blessed to run into an older woman who showed me some of the phongraphs and music boxes in the lobby. They have an old Toyota car out front that is beautiful. The coffee area was a nice place to take a break and read. We stayed in the traditional room which had tatami mats and futons. The air conditioning worked great fighting the Kyushu humid summer. The only drawback was the water pressure. Overall it was low and I think they rely on the hot spring for water so it takes a while for the water to warm."

"Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The spacious bathroom was a wonderful surprise, and the ReFa hair dryer made the experience feel even more luxurious. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. If you’re visiting Karatsu, I highly recommend staying here, exploring the town, and enjoying the fresh local seafood. We would definitely love to stay here again."

"The hotel is right next to the train station, which is very convenient if you’re traveling around the area. The rooftop onsen is small but great for relaxing your muscles after a long day of walking. The breakfast is one of the best free breakfasts I’ve had, there are plenty of options to choose from. The staff were very helpful, they helped me figure out my luggage shipment."

"Great hotel/hostel linked to a cafe, shop and cinema. The hotel was great overall, but by comparison to the rest of the facilities, the room felt a touch basic, if perfectly comfortableand spotlessly clean. Great location in Karatsu, within a 5 minute walk to the train station and on a great pedestrianised street full of great shops (mainly with pottery goods). Would totally recommend."
