"We were walking the wales coast path and had not factored in the demand around Cardiff for accommodation when concerts are on. The student accommodation was the only reasonable priced option we could get for the weekend ( still more expensive than a premier inn) The main issue was heat, the room was very warm, a fan was provided but the window is only open a few issues (H&S) therefore circulating warm air. "The rooms including the en suite facilities are finished to a high standard. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice of items available. The dinner menu also offered a good and varied choice of quality food. Staff were very pleasant and always happy to help. My second stay and I will have no hesitation of staying again"

"This is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Cardiff and just a quick walk to so many bars, cafes, shops and the Castle. Our room was so lovely. It had a very funky vibe and was beautiful decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved it! The community lounge and deck was also a great addition giving you access to a great hang out area. "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Having a the convenience of the kitchen in the room meant I wasn't reliant on a restaurant or takeaway for sustenance, which made a pleasant change. The room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and furnishing and good Wi-Fi and vey quiet. The parking was convenient but a bit limited. The surroundings were quite nice being close to the docks, but it was clear to see that there is still some development going on in the areas around the hotel."

"We have stayed here before several times but this time was really disappointing. We booked an accessible room but on arrival we were told this wasn't available and we were on the first floor. It was fortunate my operation for a knee replacement was postponed or I wouldn't have managed the stairs (no lift). The first floor room was stifling as it was during the ongoing heatwave. No fan provided. We went straight to get a cold drink (having driven 200 miles we were parched). Ordered the drinks...

"Breakfast was amazing!!!! Room was perfect size and the bathroom was nice. A lot of stairs though. An older gentleman with a hearing aid was very helpful during check out and called a cab for us."
