Across the street is Chinatown point mall where you can find many restaurants and a western style supermarket in the basement level. The check in was a breeze and the rooms are in good condition for a hotel of this age. Overall highly recommended. "

"The staff was very nice and helpful. The housekeeper did an excellent job of keeping the room clean. Be aware that the rooms are very small by Western standards but are also very affordable by Singapore standards! I would like to suggest that the hotel consider some small changes to the rooms that would make them easier to use. Storage of luggage and clothes is a challenge. I suggest a shelf be added above the bed on the wall for small items. I also suggest that a small corner table to be added next to the bed in the corner. The last suggestion is that the metal frame for hanging clothes have a shelf added to it for storing clothes or small suitcases. I put my carryon bag up there on the frame when it was empty. "
