"Although we just stayed the one night and didn’t really use any of the facilities, the staff were amazing and very accommodating…we were able to have a late check out so that we could enjoy the day exploring the GEM…both Dinner and Breakfast were buffet style with lots of good options…we would stay here again."

"Convenient transit-focused hotel. Near Cairo airport with frequent free shuttle. Rooms are clean and water is hot. Water-saver features in bathrooms are annoying. Food (buffet breakfast) is plentiful and usually tasteless. Not really appealing. We had a buffet dinner included in rate. It looked good, but one had to hunt for tasty dishes. Staff was typically useless. They were more interested in talking among themselves than they were in helping guests. "

"It was a good decision to stay in the Palace, a good addition to my first time experience in Cairo. Very safe area, some rooms have a view to the garden, I prefer city view and that’s what I get. Love the Nile river view. The staff amazing, very hospitable. "

"Lovely oldy worlde atmosphere and attention to detail of days gone by. Nothing is too much for them. Extremely comfortable beds and I am very fussy. Lovely comfortable sun beds as well. Well worth buying the room with access to the M lounge. Best of all free golf buggy transport to VIP entrance to the pyramids 5 minutes away that the public can’t use to the base of the great pyramid. "

The location is outstanding, set right on the River Nile with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere despite being in the heart of Cairo. The pool area deserves special mention. It was immaculate, with pristine water and surrounding areas that were exceptionally well kept, clean, and tidy. It provided the perfect place to relax and unwind by the Nile. Dining at Kebabgy was a highlight, with outstanding, authentic food. A special mention also goes to the team at Club Millésime Lounge for their exceptional service, afternoon tea, drinks, and snacks. A memorable stay—we would highly recommend it."
