"We had a fantastic stay overall. Some services like the spa and the restaurants could have offered a better experience considering the property is a 5 star, but the staff made up for everything. "Gorgeous hotel. Beautifully designed and a little oasis. Lovely charming staff. Rooms are spotless, minimalist and tasteful. We were in one of the bungalows and the indoor/outdoor bathroom was fabulous. The pool was great. Just big enough and a lovely design, warm, sunbeds and umbrellas around it, towels provided. Breakfast was very good and we ate in the restaurant a couple of nights and it was very tasty. The area around is partly village / partly scrubland. The hotel organised scooters for us. It was 5 mins to SELONG Belanak beach and about 30mins to kuta. You can walk to a couple of eateries a few minutes down the road. "

"We had such a lovely stay at Thamarind, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and it was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was very tasty and Snorkelling directly outside was amazing! "

"We will definitely book this again. Highly recommended. Very quiet idylic resort. We had a stunning 2 bedroom suite with a private pool and garden. There are 2 additional pools too both were excellent. Its a 5 min qaln to a unspoilt idylic beach. Loved the art market and restaurant there too. Service is impeccable!! "

"We had a wonderful stay at Qunci Villas. We were upgraded from a sea view room to room 23, which had fantastic views. Food was fabulous, spa treatments very good. Due to travel problems we had to stay an extra night in another room in the garden area and at the far side of the resort. The room was lovely, but the noise from the local mosque was quite intrusive, especially at 5.10am! Earplugs were offered and of course local customs have to be respected, but if we had booked 4 nights in that room we would have been most disappointed. Overall, beautiful resort, excellent staff, lovely gardens and artwork, but choose your room carefully."
