The location is way too far from the beach! Bad Wi-Fi ! No markings to find the hotel! No morning breakfast ! No bicycle rent option ! They promote you to rent from outside ! Nothing in the minibar apart from coke! They don’t provide daily complimentary water ! Only thing good is it’s silent as it’s far away from the beach ! Apart from that it really needs a lot of development!

Garbage and horse stalls
We booked for six nights and only stayed for one. The main reason was because of the massive mound of trash just around the corner from the property. We could smell the plastic burning and everything. Horse stalls are also on the other side of the property, so all in all it’s a terrible location with garbage everywhere. They have had to lower prices and condense some of the villas to make up for the losses. Hopefully the government steps up and fixes this to save the property and the island itself. Such a bummer!

Lovely hotel, restaurant let’s it down.
Really enjoyed our stay within our villa and hotel. However would not recommend the restaurant because our meals were disgusting and gave me and my partner severe bad stomachs (put in the politest form). Restaurant really does let down the hotel because the hotel facilities such as the pool and the villas themselves are really really nice.

Amazing
The private villas are amazing. We had the most wonderful time here and would definitely recommend. It was good value for money too - the cheapest villa with private pool that we could find and it’s even nicer than the photos.

Very far from beach
Know that this villas are very far from beach, before booking I review all comments and villas own website discription. Website discription mentions free bike for customer, easy for us in and out, but at the end we need to rent ourselves or take house car cost rupiah 150,000/way, that is not worth to stay in this villas

to much clorin in the pool , air-cond not funtion at all , my sugesstion please put fans outside at the leving room , thnks for bapak who send us coconut all the staff fantastic , breakfast need to change the menu , and please put a lot off singhbord outside , thanks for everything ❤️

The hotel was nice and a comfortable room but it is next to a landfill so there were a lot of flies. For that reason it was impossible have a nice breakfast without flies, it was really disgusting for me. Other bad point was about shower, the hot water wasn’t working property.

Loved our bungalow, huge pool, free bikes, great breakfast and ever helpful staff. The mosque is directly next door and starts very early, however we would go back in a heartbeat.

Nice hotel but too far away from the main areas.
Nice hotel, the bikes for use weren't that great and were practically falling apart. Too far from the main activities in all directions. Would be better to stay on the east side nearer the beach.

Quiet location, a bike ride to the main beach/town
Nice spot, lovely garden pool and master suite, smaller 2nd room. Free bikes were ideal as it is a bike ride/walk to thenson beach.

Great hotel
Loved the food, facilities and staff. Free bikes to get around, short ride anywhere. Nice and quiet. Only things we had a problem with was the air-conditioning and the smoke blowing over from the rubbish tip which is not their fault.

Good location away from noise
As Gili T is the party island, this was nice and quiet accommodation. A little overpriced I thought but we enjoyed our stay in a two bedroom pool villa. Staff were good, breakfast was basic but really good. Main drawback is with it being in the center of the island, you needed a pony cart to go anywhere and at $15 Australian per way, got a little dear. There are also free bikes which is a good option however a lot were broken down and they weren't always enough available, which was disappointing. Overall I would recommend the resort so long as your expectations aren't too hight.

really nice hotel !!!
the hotel is very nice and staff very friendly, breackfast delicious :) they offer free bicycles so you can cycle around the island to explore. room was very nice and beds very comfortable. the only negative is that next to the hotel is a Mosque so be ready waking up at 5am for the prayer as they have loud speekers ... :( or get ton of earplugs ;)

Cozy and secluded hotel.
A nice and cozy hotel away from the busy beach area. It's quite inside so you need to get a horse cart or cycle your way to the beach and other areas. If you have baggage, you have to get horse cart to/from hotel and you will be spending some extras there. It's still worth since the hotel is quite cheap for the facilities and condition.

There is a LOUD mosque right next door
Overall this place was amazing, the restaurant, free bikes, pool and staff are top notch. The only gripe would be being woken up at 5am every morning, there's a mosque next door, they pray 5x a day over loud speaker, starting at 5am ending at 10pm. Ear plugs might hide the sound, however it's extremely loud.

Teenagers partying all night and worse the Mosque is right next door, expect LOUD prays over speaker phone every 5am for at least 30min and then again 5 times during the day. My partner got sick from the restaurant onsite (we had all 3 meals there that day).Also so far away from town, you will have to bike through dirty roads. Staff and hotel itself great!

Appears nice but has flaws
On first sight our villa looked amazing, private pool, outside shower, big room and all the trimmings. Location is not great as its a bit away from the beach, but this means it's quiet which is good. (Although you can hear the religious chanting that goes on from the room.) The pool was alright, very heavily chlorinated but clean. Our air conditioning didn't work, and on the last night kept clattering and freezing over. Expect to get eaten alive by mosquitos here too, the net didn't help and I'm covered all over. The repellent the hotel provided didn't alleviate this either. The room smelled of damp, but in general looked clean and well maintained. Breakfast was nice, but make sure you get it included as its quite pricey for what it is otherwise. Don't expect much from the spa facilities, but there are plenty near the beach to make up for this, and at a cheaper cost. I don't think it's worth the money to stay here, there are cheaper alternatives that offer much the same.

Too remote
The villas were not value for money. Very remote which could be a good thing for the peace and quiet but in practical terms inconvenient. The rooms were nothing special, and for that money one would expect things like an outdoor shower in the villa, which is standard in Bali. Charmless hotel decor, the private pool not very clean. Air conditioner not very good, very substandard breakfast. Had the price been cheaper my expectation would have been lower. Better places to stay for the money on Gili T, like Villa Ombak.

Very helpful staff
We upgraded from a Superior to a Deluxe villa after we checked in. The Deluxe was great and the staff were keen to do everything they could to assist and we ended up extending our stay. The breakfast was good also. Only downsides are the location being near some regular burning/smoke, and the pools weren't cleaned out as much as they could be. Still, would recommend, but get a deluxe villa.

We were at ottalia for 10 nights - great privacy and room exactly as described and pictured. great gardens. bit of building noise during the day - the staff were good. Aircon worked a treat and we didnt see a mozzie the whole time - (APRIL). Pool was well maintained, room was attended to every day regardless of which way we placed our door sign. wifi drops in and out but we didnt care. the power went off a few times but thats to be expected on such a small island. it didnt bother us. The ants are quick so dont leave anything edible outside the fridge or the room. breakfast buffet was fine - just not the poached eggs. bikes made life easy to get around and was quite fun and could go anywhere on the island. it was great overall and id go back anyday. was so good to be away from the hussle n bustle of the main street. i would take my family - felt very safe. Kayu cafe had the best coffee Tropica Gili has a fantastic massage lady - went 5 times!! Samba villas had amazing pizza Trawangan Dive had lovely food - especially the pastas and wedges! coffee was good too. Scallywags was nice but lots of msg in the food - in gravies and sauces - its at most places there really. The Pearl is nice for a daybed and food is lovely Great snorkelling on coral beach out past the big metal structures in the water.

Stay was bad, there is no electricity at all in the middle of the day and weather was hot. We never expect the stay to be so bad and it's was my Husband birthday. Pool is not clean and I have to ask the pool cleaner to come Everyday to clean it, utensils were not well maintain too. This villa was rated 2nd in TripAdvisor and I seriously have doubt with this rating. When we first arrived there, the room given aircon was down and not cold at all and the staff mentioned that the villa is fully booked which is not the case. So disappointed with this. However, the other service staffs were good with some of my requests which I am still Glad my Husband birthday is not ruined by all these unhappiness incidents. This villas seriously need some revamping.

location and place is stunning, but few things can be definitely improved. Little yet vital things like: reception staff more qualified (better spoken English wouldn't be bad) and sometimes they should avoid the aptitude ''ok, I,m doing this as a favour as I want to be kind with you' and most of all, talk each other in Indonesian language in front of the customer while you're asking them something. This in not that nice!

A lot of improvement needed
The scenery within the area was nice but I have a few complaints. The air-conditioning was very bad, I stayed for 2 days and the heat was terrible inside the room (even with the air-conditioning maxed and turned on for hours). The private pool water was dirty and my skin itched when I swam in the pool (I'm guessing that it was filled with unfiltered sea water). The hotel is also located quite a distance from the harbor, it would be great if the hotel could provide complimentary pick up transport.

Great villas
Villas are really great and very cheap considering what you get. Be careful of additional costs though. Any think form the mini bar and laundry services are silly expensive. Wifi was dodgey the entire trip, even when asked to fix it, the response was 'this is an island', but we had perfect internet in the middle of a storm on gili air, so that's clearly not the full reason.

Nice but far away
The hotel is nice but a bit far away from the main road and the beach. The hotel provide complementary bikes which is nice, as well as snorkling gear. Staff is very friendly but English skills are very limited. Overall good value for money.

Away from hustle and bustle
It is away from the hustle & bustle but an easy bike ride to anywhere. Breakfast was quite poor. They have so many fans in dining room and didn't turn any on. The flies were a major issue at breakfast with flies on all of the food, they had fly covers with big gaping holes in them and didn't fit over food? If they turned fans on maybe it would keep the flies away.

A great way to escape the busy street.
This villa resort is a real jewel. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the privacy is unbeatable. However, the proximity to the garbage waste facility and the islands inability to manage it (burning day and night), made for unpleasant smells and hazy air.

We couldn't have been more happy with the facilities and the staff. The resort restaurant also made great, cheap meals which you could enjoy on one of the many loungers by the pool. Can't wait to go back.

Perfect villas to relax, very quiet and private.
Villas are in the centre of the island so its only a 5 min bike ride to either side of the island. Bikes provided were good and easy to ride. The main pool was excellent and the private pool was nice for a quick dip to cool off. Didnt try the breakfast which didnt look great but this was mainly because there was so many beachfront bars and cafes to have breakfast at Anyway. The power and hot water did cut out alot ( a few seconds at a time ) but i think being a remote island this is acceptable.. stayed 7 nights and could of definitely stayed longer.

Peaceful hotel away from the hustle and bustle
This was a beautiful hotel. Very relaxing and quiet. They provides bikes which were an easy 5 min ride to the main strip.. Otherwise A 10 min walk (once you know the right way to take)! The rooms in the pool bungalows were small but had all the necessities.

A fair way from the beach and nightlife, however the hotel has dozens of complimentary bicycles which get you there in 5 minutes. Beautiful big pool and friendly helpful staff. The food isn't great but it's passable. All in all a nice place, out of the way of the noise and throb of music.

I booked a bungalow room supposedly with a private pool. ended up it was just a bedroom with a toilet and no pool. had to pay abt S$200 to upgrade to superior with a pool which I didnt use at all because the water was mirky. very far from the beach. have to cycle 10 mins out to get there. electricity was inconsistent and water went off while I was showering halfway. breakfast served at the restaurant was buffet style but it seemed like the only things they served were houseflies. other than that hotel service was great. they were v helpful n bicycles provided there were FOC. if u ladies decide to stay there dont go back when sky is too dark the alleyway back is too dimly litted.

Villas has a small private pool and public areas were neatly maintained which is pretty much what I can say about Ottalia. Food and Beverages were some of the worst I had in my 11 day trip to Bali where we stayed in 4 hotels and ate at least in 15 different places. The staff is okay but seems too mechanically trained. Somehow it lacks warmth even though they try to give you everything you ask for. e.g. probably the most options in Breakfast amongst our 4 hotel stays and the one we enjoyed the least.

A distance from other areas;Must be able to cycle
Nice quiet place away from the busy area of the island. You must be able to cycle otherwise you will have trouble going to other places from the villa. The villa provides free bicycle rental throughout your stay. The villa only have 3 hairdryers for loan so bring your own if you need one.
