A straightforward hotel
A straightforward 3 star hotel that lives up to its name (Oasis) and well placed on the island if you want a quieter basic stay away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre/harbour area. 250 meters walk to the beach which is great for snorkelling and lovely warm crystal sea also only 15 minutes walk at the end of the day to see the beautiful sunsets. Also good to see the hotel open and functioning after the recent earthquake in Lombok that also affected the island.

Nice Stay Close to Sunset Beach
The hotel is considerably far from the Gili T Sentral, however the friendly staffs and the quiet atmosphere made up to that. It's the perfect place to go to if you would like to have a quiet and relaxing stay away from the busy street in Sentral. The receptionist greeted us with warm welcome and explained to us the locations and things to do around Gili T when we just arrived. The pool is nice to swim in and the breakfast is also simple and yet good. During our last day of stay, we need to be at the jetty harbour by 8 and normally the breakfast is served at 7.30am but the staffs also made an exemption for us and prepared the breakfast earlier. I would like to compliment the staffs on their willingness to carry our luggages and lend us bikes to ride to jetty harbour, if not we would be late for our speedboat. Excellent service and definitely enjoyed our stay there!

Oasis is the perfect name
Trawangan Oasis was just perfect. From the warm welcome from Mark and his family, to the friendly staff, spacious, modern beautiful rooms, lovely pool and huts to lounge in, this was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great, especially the banana pancakes.The location is perfect, just a couple of mins walk to the beach where you can view the beautiful sunsets in the quieter north of the island. There are also numerous beach side restaurants; we tried a few and always had very high quality meals. I can't wait for my next trip back.

Secluded Gem. Value for money.
Pros. Nice quiet place in the middle of trawangan. Place is beautiful and clean. Peaceful at night unlike the hotels near the party area. Cons. Have to rent a bicycle(40k rupiah/day) for convenience else it will take 20 mins to walk to the beach. Laundry services isn't superb but it gets the job done.

Really great place
Great little find, slightly in from the beach but great pool for the midday sun. Possibly would need more sign posts/lighting for the evening but overall great value and nice end to our gili stay

Fantastic hotel close to quiet beach
stayed with 2 children in this hotel for 3 days. liked everything, good Breakfast, nice garden, friendly stuff. If you want to have fun on Trawangan but to live in a quiet place near a beautiful beach, then this hotel. Next year will definitely come again.

Its okay but there are nicer resorts on Trawangan
OVERALL STANDARD OF THE RESORT WAS DISAPPOINTING. APPEARS TO BE NEEDING A RENOVATION. CLEANLINESS WAS POOR. BREAKFAST MINIMAL. SORRY BUT WOULD NOT RETURN TO TRAWANGAN OASIS.

We enjoyed! This place is a paradise with everything working. We rented bikes, ate at the restaurant, had our laundry done, etc... Felt very safe, we kept safety box always open and had no problem.

An oasis at the top of a former coconut plantation
The room/bungalow that we stayed in was absolutely phenomenal! Fridge, safe, tv and dvd player, nice couch, clothes dryer hanger, chairs outside, etc. One problem is that wifi was not always so great, but that seemed to be more of an island wide phenomenon. The bed was huge with a mosquito net if you wanted to sleep al fresco. Bungalow was nice wooden number that gave you that summer cottage feel (depending on where you hail from). Staff was super friendly and could supply bicycles (and give them a tune up every morning). One of our favorite activities was to sit on the adequate porch of our bungalow and watch storms trickle across the island. Open air shower has been commented on before...but was really neat to see the stars while taking a shower. Just beware that if the day has been cloudy and rainy, the solar power water heater might leave you with a cooler shower in the evening. The resort is at the top of a hill (gili trawangan style hill that is). This is an important detail because it meant that we got cooling breezes at various times of the day and was easier (and drier) to find at night. Only five minute walk/2 minute bike ride to the beach for good snorkelling and diving. Pool is beautiful, but maybe needs a bit of tile work (in the low season). Garden was gorgeous with flowering plants, bushes, and towering coconut trees. Also, like everywhere on the island, were cute kitties.

Amazing hotel/resort
Amazing hotel - almost like a mini resort. Great rooms (massive bed), all overlooking swimming pool. Yes it is off the beaten track but you couldn't get anywhere as nice as this for the price on the seafront! Would definitely come back.

Really beautiful place to stay close to west coast
This place was beautiful! Bike rentals available, restaurant, amazing pool area. Beds are so comfy! Closer to the west coast which is a bit quieter but only a 10-15 min bike ride to the central area on the eastern side. Helpful staff, decent food, great atmosphere. Nothing bad to say at all. BEDS BEDS BEDS! So good!

Nice place but difficult access
Nice enough Bali style place, good grounds, nice pool area and rooms of typical design and standard. But it's a long way from anywhere in the middle of the island. Access from town is via muddy potholed tracks, a seeming warren of them despite maps showing nice straight roads... easy to get lost in the dark. You will need cycle hire (40,000 Rp a day on my visit approx $4) plus a good torch to find your way in the dark. Only alternatives are walking or tracking down an expensive horse and cart. Oasis is basically rooms and pool. Food service is minimal - a blackboard dinner menu is the only thing available, fine if you want to eat burger and fries with beer by the pool. Only soft drinks were Sprite and Coke, not even Diet Coke! Breakfast choices were limited, better to go into town for breakfast lunch and dinner. After a few days here, which were pleasant enough, I moved into town because of the difficulty of access.

Hi Lindy, thank for taking the time to review our hotel and for your comments. We do offer a basic menu at our restaurant, but also includes a number of local dishes such as beef rendang, mie goreng, nasi goreng as well as western meals you mentioned along with club sandwich, fruit platter etc. We are more in the north of the island (200 metres from North Beach) rather than the middle of the island as you suggested. There are a number of acitivites nearby (200 metres) such as snorkelling, diving and relaxing at the beach. With our bikes guests love to explore the island and I am always available to give places of interest to visit such as the 2nd world war tunnels on the hill. We are constantly reviewing our service and I appreciate your comment on diet coke and will add that to our drinks list. Thanks again for your comments!

Secluded quiet resort
Lovely little resort off the beaten path in Gili T. Quiet, nice pool, good breakfast, near the north beach, easy access to island path, good restaurants on sunset beach. Far from main areas, interesting (but fun!) walking paths to and from main areas, but also far from the mosque's early call to prayer, and the late night parties. Great staff!

Oasis in Trawangan
Nice location for a relaxing holiday. The place is away from the central area and it is quiet. The service is good and so the facilities. Breakfast is basic but this is somehow the standard everywhere for these type of accommodations.

When we first saw The distance from The beach, we were a little bit desappinted. That was only a first impression. This is not that far plus, they rent bicycle right on site for a couple of dollars à day. Room are really clean, The site is finally excellent to relax and only 5 minutes to The beach with bicycles, we really enjoyed it. Breakfast is really good. The staff really take care of you. There is a young guy working there, is name is "Ougus" I don't know How to spell it, he's a nice guy to talked to, always there if you need something. You should see him climbing a palm tree. But all the staff is great. I would go back any time to that lovely place. Message to The owner: à -you should install a frigidaire ans à coffee pot in The Room, that would make your site perfect -keep your marvelous staff they're excellent.

We stayed here for 4 nights this month, after booking we got an email straight away telling us how to get here which was great! After quite a bumpy and hot horse ride we arrived and were welcomed with welcome drinks! Our room was lovely, big bed, modern bathroom and air con. There was no tv reception but heaps of dvds to pick from to watch. The pool area was nice with lots of loungers to pick from. Location is great, you can hire bikes from reception which is super handy then it is a short ride up to the north beach which is so fun to be at, lots of bars and restaurants and really chilled out. To get back down to the main part of town which is busier and more attractions its double the distance but an easy ride down pretty much one long road. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was great - dont forget you have to order the night before! Really enjoyed our stay here and would come again!

The hotel is isolated & quite a distance from jetty. However, it's a quiet & relax place. You can rent a bike from the hotel to cycle around the island..

Lots of peace and quiet :)
It's secluded in the woods. Best accessible by cidomo (horse cart) or bicycle. Difficult to navigate at night due to unclear roads (literally in the woods). Could definitely work better with more road signs. We were at the "200m to Trawangan Oasis" sign but got lost in the dark and our own ignorance for not remembering the landmarks (they have pretty obvious landmarks to be fair). Bicycle are for rent at low cost with the hotel, which made our lives easy. Staff are readily helpful and friendly. Shower water is uncertain. Sometimes the water goes on large streams, and sometimes it's spurting in struggle. I'm guessing is because the hotel runs on a central water system, so, when many rooms are using water simultaneously, some rooms gets lesser water. That's just my own thoughts. Though, whenever we have any concerns, the staff works on it right immediately, which was great for us. Owner - Mark is responsive on email, and Collete and Tracy, the managers were just wonderful throughout our stay. Also received a surprise Christmas treat from the team, which was lovely too. Food delivery is available with a small fee, and the food were terrific! DVDs and games available at public area. Movies are updated but DVDs are scratched badly by previous user. Darts tips and board are broken, but there are many books, boardgames, even badminton is available. Nice place for peace and quiet or family time overall. Definitely come again!

The location of this hotel was very nice on the quiet north beach, a bit of an odd cycle to get here on bumpy roads, but overall great. The staff was so friendly and the room was perfect. Breakfast was also very good.

Lovely little oasis away from the noise!
Gili oasis was a lovely quiet place for us as a family to stay away from all the nightclubs and the mosque. It was comfy and we were treated really well with friendly staff. You do need to hire bikes to get around which was great as it gave us something to do as a family and gave us some exercise. Take a head torch if you plan to be out and about during your stay. Highly recommend going to the night market for dinner the best food on the island and the cheapest.

Truly an "oasis"!
Beautiful hotel and friendly staff! A little off the beaten path, but an easy bike ride or walk into the main thoroughfare. Really nothing to complain about at all, would certainly stay there again.

Excellent value for money!
A true Oasis far from the noise, we have rented bikes and we had no difficulties to reach the main street in 5 to 10 minutes! The rooms are very new, clean with a huge sized bed. The staff is always willing to help! I have only two regrets : the lack of hot water in the showers and the light breakfast.

The hotel complex is 10 minutes from the beach and restaurants. The hotel complex is very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant tasted good but some dishes were small. For example, a handful of pasta with sauce. The bed was huge and comfortable. We still couldn't sleep last night. Unfortunately, a pool party was organized by young guests until 3:30 a.m., which perhaps could have been prevented with education.

Owner was very friendly, informative and helpful. The staff was also really sweet and helpful. Very Good service! The breakfast and food was also good! Very big rooms that were clean. Good wifi. Two large pools - one saltwater and one freshwater and lots of places to hang out and relax. It is close to the beachside, where the sun sets and 10 min on bike to the front, where most restaurants, shops and beachfront are located. You can rent bikes on location, very convenient! We loved our stay! Will stay here, the next time we come til Gili T. Would definietly recommend!

Tolles Hotel, mit direkter Strandnähe
Tolles Hotel, mit einer hervorragenden Lage, 3 Minuten Fußweg vom Strand. Dort kann man überall die kostenlosen Liegen nutzen dafür muss aber im Gegenzug etwas Verzehrt werden. Ein wenig weg vom Trubel. Wer das möchte, dafür kann man Fahrräder im Hotel leihen. Ansonsten schöne Hotelanlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Frühstück ist auch super. Gibt einen Wasserspender im Hotel, wo man sich kostenlos das Wasser auffüllen kann. Das hat den Hintergrund, dass nicht so viel Müll auf der Insel produziert wird. Nachmittags wird auch kostenloser Kaffee + Kuchen angeboten. Alles in allem ein sehr kleines niedliches Hotel, was man auf jeden Fall empfehlen kann. Mann sollte nur jeden Tag an der Rezeption Bescheid sagen, dass das Zimmer gesäubert wird. Damit haben Sie es leider nicht so. Wir hatten in 5 Tagen nur eine Zimmersäuberung.

Vi bodde på Trawangan Oasis i fyra nätter och var nöjda med valet. Prisvärt och bekvämt. Fint hotell, med bra faciliteter. Läget var okej, ca 300m till stranden, ca 10-15min till solnedgången och lagom avstånd till huvudgatan. Låg dock lite ensamt i förhållande till andra hotell. Rent och fräscht, dock fick vi ingen städning de dagar vi var där, de får man nog be om. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Okej utbud på frukosten. Rekomenderas om man vill ha bra men enkelt hotell till billig peng.
