The manager was unsure if the room she was checking me into was clean or not. She gave me the key and told me to go check. I did. It was not clean. I asked her if she was switching us to a different room. She said no. She then sent me to find the cleaning lady. I found her on my floor. When I asked her to clean my room we discovered that we didn't speak the same language. I went back to the front desk. She told me she would try to get ahold of the cleaning lady but also didnt speak Spanish. I then typed a message out in google translate and went and showed the cleaning lady my translated message to ask her to clean our room. She did. It was overall a very weird experience.

Room carpet has to be replaced.
Everything else was fine, but the carpet in my room was very dirty, maybe the dirtiest I have ever stayed in any hotel. Way too many stains.

Good but not good?.
I stayed and loved it but i was not welcomed well. the comfort of the hotel overall was awsome. Mahbe get welcomed better.

Decent place
Clean, spacious rooms. The bed was a lot like sleeping on a concrete slab. Very, very hard, which made it difficult to get comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor facing the highway and could hear the highway noise but it wasnt too distracting.

We arrived around 8pm. We weren’t greeted with even a hello or a smile. The lady working the front desk looked at us and asked for a last name. We asked about laundry and she said she didn’t know about what they hotel had to offer. We talked to another guest about how well the washer and dryers worked and they informed us that it would take more to dry then anything. When we asked the front desk lady for quarters for the washer and dryer she acted like she didn’t want to give us any quarters at all. I wanted at least 5 dollars to make sure that we had enough for both loads so we didn’t have to bother her again cause she was very rude. When laundry was started I realized that I had left both room keys in the the room with the door shut, so once again I was wanting to talk to the front desk but had to. When I explained what had happened with the room keys, I asked for another and apologized for the inconvenience. She very rudely sighed and rolled her eyes. The dryers took over $4 in quarters to dry and not getting enough quarters because the front desk didn’t want to give anymore I decided to use the vending machine to get more quarters which was way easier then dealing with the rude lady. Overall, the service was very rude and unprofessional, the room still had hair stuck to the shower walls and chips left on floor next to bed side. The tv remote wouldn’t work correctly. We choose not to say anything because we didn’t wanna deal with the rude attitude of the front desk lady.

The Lady at the counter, Deb, that checked us in was Amazing! We had a late start so i called at 2pm to let her know we would be checking in around 1am. We actually arrived at 2am and she was still working. Very friendly and accommodating. We have a disabled mom with us and she was very sympathetic to her needs. When we woke in the morning and went down to breakfast at 9am she was still working! We were so amazed at how alert she was. My husband commented on her long work shift. She said they were so short staffed and she was working a triple shift! She is an extraordinary, dedicated lady and deserves much praise! The breakfast was beyond delicious! The best breakfast we have seen at a hotel ever!!!

The staff were very friendly and the location is convenient. The filthiness of the carpets in the room and the stain on the bed comforter were not up to Hampson Inn standards.
