"Gorgeous weekend in wild weather! The apartment was protected from the wind behind the dunes (so no ocean view) but still very pretty nestled in the tea-tree, with the Fairy Wrens! Great comms with property managers. Fantastic local beach to explore and an easy drive to Wilson’s Prom."

"5 stars!! My dog and I absolutely loved our stay on Smiths Beach here. It’s perfectly compact and clean with everything you could want, need and then some. Linda not only offers the best advice on things to do on the island but has made sure to add all the finishing touches for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Ray immediately took to the guest dog bed and loved the complimentary dog treats. The couch was huge, the bed was so comfy (with great pillows and electric blankets) but the huge spa bath was...

"My 8 and 10 years old boys loved the resort. They enjoyed the big trampolines, indoor pool and playing tennis. It’s so family friendly. We had breakfast at cafe in the town to save money, but the breakfast buffet at the resort was cheaper."

"We had a wonderful stay at Vivere Retreat (23–25 December)! Julie and Rod’s cottage was cozy, welcoming, and very comfortable, set in beautifully peaceful natural surroundings. Our kids loved the space and being close to nature, and everything was thoughtfully set up for families. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway!"

"Staff were very helpful & friendly. Renovated Apartment was modern with quite a large bathroom for a 1 bedroom apartment. The area was quiet, peaceful & treelined. Parking on site. Botanic gardens & lake close by & shops not far. Would stay again."
