If I could give no stars I would. Do not stay here as it is a health hazard. If you need a place to stay then sleep iin your car and if you don’t have a car, choose a bus stop, it will be cleaner. Upon arrival, to get the key. had to ring a phone number, no one on site to help. In room it was absolute filthy, with blood on floor, pubic hairs & in general terrible condition as was all of the outside areas. People talk outside the room from 4am We did not feel safe and did not sleep. Towels smelt clean but well used.

The room was filthy. Very negleted r/m. Couldn't access crockery as the fridge was blocking the door. Drain in the bathroom was so foul I had to cover it with a towel. Curtains were attached to the rod with cable ties. A room smoke alarm was going off all night for the want of a new battery. This place needs to be closed down.

The room and the linen was clean. Microwave did not heat food in Room 14 even though it appeared to operate. Location was good near East Shores. Aircon working well during a heat wave. No face to face contact.On arrival you ring a number and receive a code for a lock box holding room keys as well as WiFi code.

Rooms are in need of a serious upgrade. We had mould on the ac and also on the curly cord on hairdryer. The freezer section of the fridge was impacted with ice. On the plus side the bathroom was clean and all linen was clean too.

Good morning Mid City Motor Inn Gladstone was probably the dirtiest and run down place we have ever stayed.  Ever single mining camp i have stayed is has been cleaner and better maintained.  Items of concern were: - strands of black hair in the shower stuck to the wall. - dry used soap on the window sill from previous occupants in shower. - hair and dirt/ dust over the vanity - queen bed sheet (fitted) had rip in it - 1 of the single beds had hair and dirt between fitted and flat sheet.  Daughter ended up sleeping on top of the bed cover. - no batteries in the air conditioning remote, so couldn't adjust. - Cupboard door was missing - Floor in both bathroom and bedroom area was not clean.   This is a room/ complex being used for FIFO workers and is not family oriented. Only positive is water was hot and room was dry.

When you arrive, despite it saying reception is staffed during business hours, you have to call to get your room key because there's never anyone in reception. There was no instructions/booklet in the room which sets out expectations during the stay or nearby entertainment. I messaged twice asking for the wifi password but never received a reply so we had to use mobile data the whole stay. The wifi connection I was told to use didn't even appear in my wifi options, although 3 different midcity wifis popped up, all password protected. The bathroom door was brand new, not even a coat of paint was applied to it. It wasn't cut to fit the door frame properly and wasn't able to be closed. There was no hardware attached to the door either, no handles or anything. We ended up putting a chair up against the door when in use to stop the door swinging open. No dishwashing liquid or sponge to do dishes. Can't imagine dishes have ever been cleaned by previous visitors given the hair I got out of my coffee the first morning. No extra toilet paper either. One roll to last 2 people 2 nights. Loud tenants all hours of the night despite many signs throughout the complex about noise between certain times. Looked like someone had previously attempted to break into our room with damage around the key hole and entrance. It did the job for what we needed which was mainly just a bed at night but improvements need to be made.

Mid City Motor Inn – 1.5/5 We booked a Deluxe Single Room expecting 1 Queen Bed, but received a room with both a queen and single bed. The room itself was large, and the sheets and towels were clean, which was appreciated. However, the motel is very old, not refurbished, and the general atmosphere was not welcoming. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting outside to read due to the permanent residents and general environment. Although the location is close to the foreshore (which made for a lovely morning walk), the overall experience was disappointing. I called ahead to confirm reception would be open and was told yes—only to receive after-hours check-in instructions at noon. Reception was never open. Extremely overpriced for what it is. I’d only recommend this place if absolutely nothing else is available.

This property was not very clean; the whole place is old / broken. The toilet did not flush properly, had to take the lid off the top to fill with water so it could eventually flush. pillows very thin. Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere. This place is only worth about $50 a night.

Convenient location. No one in reception for two days, just a phone number on the door. When called someone gives the combination to a wall mounted safe containing the room key. Had to repair the disgustingly dirty aircon myself. Very skanky, almost toothless man asking for money near room doors. Police there Sunday night, told me to be very careful. Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend.

At first it seemed like a nice place, but then thing's sort of took a nose dive. The bathroom was the worst. The shower head wouldn't stay up, you had to literally hold it in position, then it would drip for sometime afterwards. Some of the motel rooms have permanent residents in them, with their animals, so there was a fair bit of barking from their dogs.One couple got evicted whilst I was there, there was a lot of screaming and yelling and the police turned up as well. What was once a nice place seems now to have fallen to disrepair. The person who checked me in had to ring the owner several times to gdt a code to access me in Wouldn't recommend this property, sorry been l
