"Staff absolutely superb, beautiful traditional hotel, they don't make them like this anymore! Room generous and room amenities excellent. Food superb although coffee iffy."

"We had quick check in and room ready before 3 pm. Room very warm and spacious. Saw a couple of cobwebs in corners on ceiling however. The tea and coffee facilities were good but the kettle didn''t switch off automatically and kettle lid didn' t stay on very well which was a hazzard. We were a little disappointed to find that our bed had not been made even though the cleaner had been in as teacups had been washed. This hadn't been an issue on a previous stay however."

"Absolutely fantastic, the only downside was the lift wasn’t working on our side of the hotel, so it was a lot of stairs for my husband who finds stairs difficult. Xx"

"Staff were amazing, so friendly and great with our children. Breakfast was lovely, could not fault. Rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. Will definitely be staying again "
