"The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast."

"The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)"

"What a stunning hotel!! Super clean, lovely staff, an amazing breakfast, and rooms have air conditioning!! Plus, it’s in a wonderful location! A few miles from the city center but far enough away, that there isn’t crowds and noise! It is also back off the road with trees (a mini forest) around it with a walking trail! Absolutely wonderful! Could not have stayed at a better hotel while visiting Dublin!"

"We had a lovely stay at the Royal Marine Hotel. Our room was spacious with three huge bay windows overlooking the sea, an enormous comfortable bed and an excellent shower. It was very clean, although a fresh coat of paint and some attention to the skirting boards would make it even better.
