"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy.     "The room was nice and large. Once the heating was switched on, it warmed up well. Breakfast was fine and the bar had very good value beer. The person in the room next door must have had a few as they were quite loud late at night and early in the morning but the hotel isn't to blame for those types of people! I was there for work and location was ideal. "
