"Really liked it, excellent value, updated rooms, quiet, with a retro feel - comfy beds, fresh towels daily and a friendly, helpful group of people working to take care of guests. Aiken's Lodge guests have access to the continental hot breakfast next door at The Best Western (same ownership) and it better than most. Highly recommended!"

"It's a beautiful hotel, however we were on the 1st floor and the noise from guests above us was LOUD. And it wasn't them per say, but the floor/ceiling must be thin because just walking around above us was incredibly loud. In addition, when the toilet flushed it was SUPER loud. Kinda gross to know when your neighbors are using the toilet 😲."

"Definitely looking forward another stay here at this amazing , charming, historic inn. What a treasure of a place. My only constructive comment would be that, while very well maintained, the property is tastefully dated. Its part of the charm certainly but I hope they invest a bit in updating some of the dated items that are not necessarily related to the charm (such as nicer bathrooms). Small concern, and overall a great stay."
